It normally sits next to my bed with the cable around my bed post so no one can grab and go. I also use this when I travel. Its TSA compliant on SWA and I've flown with it 5 or 6 times in the checked bag. The biometric safe has worked as I expected it to. I've had it for over a year and probably opened it 2 times per week. It also allows me to put more than one finger print in it's memory and you can still use a number code. Its fits my Glock 19, a flashlight and a 30 round Glock mag. So it holds quite a bit which is a big upgrade from my old version. I would highly recommend this product after 3 Vaultec purchases. I own two of these and the larger safe with a slide out shelf.
