The handle is hollow and about the size of a broom handle. There's a hole in the handle with a threaded bolt going though it. You're supposed to provide the pole, drill a hole and bolt the saw to the pole. I purchased this because I thought it would just screw on a painter's pole - NOT! Ignore the answer to the Question saying it's threaded - it isn't!The Good: it's sharp and cuts well and has a hole in the blade to hang it.The Bad: the blade is too flexible and bends when you push hard. It's bare metal and will rust. The hollow handle consists of fairly thin hard plastic (since it's hollow!) and the single bolt meant to hold the saw on the pole is very near the end of the handle. If you mount it on a pole this arrangement isn't going to take a lot of load before it breaks.Basically - a cheap Chinese saw unlikely to last very long. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This saw is tough and works really nice.
