I hate alloy wheels because they scratch so easily. It costs a lot to clean them up, so Alloygators are a godsend. Best find a small tyre dealer to fit them though as they are not really suited to DIY.

Alloygators are easily dislodged from the wheel rim when impacting the kerb at low speed and they're not easy to put back onto the rim. They also damage the wheel rim and powder coating when removed. (See images). I'm taking mine off my wheels, they look terrible when you scrape the kerb, worse than when you scrape the actual alloy!

Have used these for my work vehicles the last 5 years. Have bought the fitting kit so can do the job myself. Have fitted 12 plus now and it gets quicker the more you do it. Would suggest watching YouTube guides as easier than following the fitting instructions. Take your time fitting them correctly and they'll save your wheels from damage and won't cause any issues when removed too. Saves tyre wall damage as well. Black ones are discreet even on silver wheels too.

Look lovely on the car, but I took it to be hand washed and the colour came off leaving white patches on the gator 😪

This is my second replacement I’ve installed on my tires. They have lasted me a long time. The only reason I had to replace it recently was the tire shop guys did not put it back properly after fixing a dent in my rim from a pothole. (They had to remove the tire and rim protector to fix) same night I drove home it flew off while I was on the highway so I was upset but knew I could get another quick. So this would be the 6th one I’ve installed and it went faster than I expected since it had been a long time but luckily they have YouTube videos to refresh your memory. Since I got them 2 years ago I’ve been happy and definitely recommend these rim protectors

Das Beste, was man kaufen kann, um die geliebten Felgen zu schützen. Der Schutz funktioniert hervorragend und macht einen sehr robusten Eindruck. Die Montage ist bei den ersten 1–2 Malen etwas schwierig, aber ab dem dritten Mal geht es deutlich schneller und einfacher. Tipp zur Montage: Am besten einen Gummihammer verwenden, Spülwasser benutzen und das Auto an der Stelle anheben, wo der Schutzring montiert wird. Außerdem vorher den Reifen entlüften, das erleichtert die Montage enorm.
