Wrap Around Plastic To Reduce Release of Microplastics
I wrapped this cotton tape around the plastic handles of my lat pull down exercise machine. Why? The tape helps reduce exposure to and the leaching of microplastics onto my hands and into the environment. There is also minimal glue on the backside, and the soft texture of the tape feels comfortable.I will buy more rolls to wrap around the plastic handles on my bike; and to wrap around the plastic foam handles of my dumbbells - until I replace them with all metal dumbbells. By the way, I specifically chose the color of white for this tape because this color is less toxic.

Buen agarre y resistencia
Son unas cintas con mucho agarre y resistencia, poco acolchadas pero muy comodas. Recién instaladas lucen muy lindas, pero en un par de días pierden su color y comienzan a lucir totalmente percudidas.PD: un solo rollo es muy corto para cubrir completamente un manubrio dropbar.

Two rolls of this worked very nicely to cover one road bike's handlebars, with not a lot to spare. Adhesive strip on the back, which I didn't expect. Once down, I coated it twice with amber shellac. The result darkened the red a lot for a very dark, classy result -- like what I imagine you'd find on the steering wheel of a classic Jaguar, or perhaps something out of the Wright Brother's original bike shop. (Next time I might try the clear shellac.)
