I ordered that blade from their site, plus shipping. It's not the same replacement part as this one. It's meant for another trimmer. I came back and ordered this one. BTW...a new trimmer of this model is well over $100 now.

All i want is the spring for replacement head assembly kit for the (9234 and 9240) pruning stik tree pruner. do you sell just the spring?

If all you need is the spring, you can use a general-purpose extension spring as long as it is less than 2" long, less than about 0.5" thick, can be stretched (deflected) at least another 1.75" or so, and has a load capacity of at least 12 lbs. I used this one https://www.amazon.com/dp/B008RFPA8C and it works fine. One with a little more load capacity might work better. But 11.5 lbs. seems to be enough. To get that kind of strength, a wire diameter of about 0.05" to 0.06" for the spring is about right.

only $12 on Fiskars website, why so much here?

Losing the spring did not mean buying new loppers!

After losing the spring from my Fiskar branch loppers while wrestling in some dense branch cover,it was great to see you can buy a genuine Fiskar kit that also gives you a spare blade and chain link for a fraction of the price of a new loppers. I found fitting the spring reasonably easy with a pair of pliers and my loppers are back in action.

Perfect replacement blades. Somewhat challenging to install as the spring is very strong, but does work once you get it on. Always use genuine OEM replacement parts.
