Extremely convenient, makes recording content way easier. The magnet is pretty strong even with heavier phones. Very sturdy.

I will add a washer where the stem threads onto the stud in my tripod head, so I can put some tension on it and keep it from rotating as I adjust the phone/camera for that 'just right' angle. Shot some images of the super moon from the front yard, and the "nigh time' mode on my iPhone demands that I old the phone camera motionless for up to three seconds. No way to do that without a handy support clamp like this. Easy to get the phone in and out of the clamp. The little gooseneck is sufficient, supporting the weight of the phone while allowing enough flex to do fine position adjustments after the tripod head is secured. Cost is very reasonable. Works with any normal tripod camera base. Travels in a coat pocket or gear bag really easily. I could easily leave it on the end of my monopod for instant use. I'm quite satisfied with the purchase.

So I almost returned this phone holder I got for my ring light because I convinced myself it was not compatible with my light and even started the return process. But then as I was searching for another one, I decided to try this holder again. Turns out, I wasn't using the right piece of included hardware attachment. I needed a holder for the center of my light as I plan on making top view tutorials. The screw hole in my light has a separator and I only tried the silver double ended screw and it would not fit because the separator acted like a wall and the screws on the adapter was not long enough. There were no instructions that came with my holder so I don't know if it ever came with one or if I had gotten a return (doesn't look used but the box is ripped) so I didn't realize there were two different adapters-the silver one and the black one. Basically, if your light has a separator like mine (see first pic), then you need the black adapter piece. Loosen it up and fit it over the separator, tighten and the attach the bendable holder. I'm so glad I figured it out before I actually dropped off the return and I was able to cancel it. Once I figured out which attachment to use, it was pretty easy to get the rest of it set up. The part that holds the phone is pretty tight so I'm sure my phone won't fall out halfway through the recording process. Now, I'll be able to make some tutorials that will look professional.

Easy to pose. Easy to use in either landscape or portrait orientation. Or honestly whatever angle you feel like. Stabilizes very quickly after movement and doesn't jiggle at the slightest touch. Connection to the cold shoe mount is solid. Pretty straight forward product. Does what you need it to and does it well for just a handful of bucks.

Bought this to try doing amateur astrophotography with my Google Pixel 9 Pro. Had a little trouble getting the flex mount to stay put after putting my phone into the holder. Seemed to want to keep bending slightly. So I'd recommend bending it all the way in one direction before starting to take any pictures to keep it from bending while taking long exposures.
