Canon Battery Pack BP-828, Black

I was buying some generic batteries to use along with my name brands, but not anymore. I will always buy the name brands from now on. They are the best, hands down. Good charging and long-lasting. Well built.

I shoot videos for my original music and wildlife. This battery gives me great performance in my Canon professional video camera.

We've tried Wasabi, Watson and Canon batteries in our Canon G40s & Canon XA35s. Only Canon genuine batteries measure up over the long haul. The Canon XA35s, SDI connection requires more juice then the Canon G40s using HDMI. We're not buying any more cheap batteries. After 8 months of Cameras randomly going offline, cheap batteries just don't last. They leave us scrambling to swap batteries! Not good during a shoot! We shoot continuous for 3 to 4 hours. Batteries are drained to 35 or 45% then charged for the next shoot. Excellent Cameras deserve great batteries!

These batteries had zero charge. This is a bad sign. Sure enough when trying to charge both showed a flashing charge light indicating bad batteries. I have two of these that are 2+ years old and still work fine. Amazon said contact Canon. Canon said because my video camera is no longer made (but the batteries are) they will not replace the batteries even though they are new. I am out $300. EDIT************************ Bought a Watson BP-828 with a charger. The Watson charger worked on these batteries no problem. The Canon charger would charge my other batteries but not these. Canon charger went in the trash.

Terrible. Will not hold charge. I cannot believe it tbh. I bought a vixia hf g70 with a junk battery. So I bought this. Also won’t charge. Generic brand however - Charged and worked fine.

This battery is great! Really give me many more minutes of recording.

Dependability and battery life was my biggest need. I was very happy with the life of this after 2 video shoots.

Works great and holds a charge for a very long time. It's clearly more expensive than other non-Canon batteries, but I'm fine paying more for a genuine product to go along with an expensive camera I plan on using for many years.

Me gusta el tiempo que le dura la carga

La pila que viene incluida en la Canon XA30 solo dura 120 minutos, esta pila dura casi el doble! Lo que es muy bueno para quienes trabajamos en eventos sociales y no tenemos tiempo de cargar nuestro equipo. A mi me dura unos 230 minutos esta batería.

je suis dessus de cette batterie car la publicité nous dis une capacité de 395 minutes mais elle à que 245 minutes,à ce prix je m'attendais à une plus grande autonomist. j'ai eux la même capacité avec une moins chère .
