Catholic Incense Gift Set with Holy Card

This incense is wonderful. Has the complex spicy scents with nothing artificial to give a headache. I use it to keep the house smelling good. It arrived well packaged and intact. Using the 3 together, frankincense, myrrh and catholic essence, provides a beautiful aroma that reminds you of sacred altars and the thurible wafting lots of smoke to take prayers to heaven. I also use this incense when taking quiet time for myself. Helps me focus on my breathing and thoughts. Dotti has hit the mark on this one! I love having a small seller on Amazon. She takes her craft seriously and your satisfaction is paramount. Well done, Dotti Templeton, you have gained a life long customer. I highly recommend this product. No chemical smell or strange scents or irritating compounds. Just a lovely and pure essence.

The scents are very strong......more so than even a candle. Best to be used in a large room. A bit too strong for a small bedroom. I wonder if I leave the incense exposed to air for a while, then not only will the fragrance spread with out burning but perhaps dissipate slightly making them less potent to be able to burn in a smaller space? Thus giving them a dual purpose! Anyway, wonderful, high-quality product. I will definitely be purchasing more in the future. And Dotti and Art are a joy to do business with.

The incense is fantastic and has a natural scent that's not at all perfumey or chemical-y. Smells like high Mass, which I love. :-) I get the incense blessed and burn it during my prayer time at home. I will buy this incense again! The long, flat, wooden incense holder is good, but I don't love the round one. In the round incense holder, the drilled stone piece arrived unglued from the wooden base, which wasn't a huge deal b/c I have glue. However, the stone piece was too large for the well in the wooden base, so there was no way it was ever going to fit evenly or snugly. I rotated it every which way I could to see if I could make it settle into place before gluing it, but it was just too large. I did my best to glue it back together, but it sits unevenly, so I can't use it for the long stick incense. It's got a flat spot in the middle, so it'll still work well for cone incense if I ever get any of that.

I was interested in finding incense made in USA. I'm from NY, & love that this is made by a small, family business in NY! I like the 3 scents in this pkg..was curious about the Catholic Essence (I'm not Catholic, but always enjoyed the incense burning at Catholic masses, if I happened to be there.) Can't attest to the 'genuineness' of this scent, I just enjoy it. Only used the long holder so far..it's fine. The round one is attractive. Moist, perfumey sticks with good burn time, though I haven't timed it. I say good value for money, & will probably order again & try other fragrances.

I have not been a part of the Church for quite some time. I am now at a crossroads of sorts, and am reconsidering this stance. Recently, I have been flooded with memories of my Catholic upbringing and education. Being guided by what I do not yet know, I am finding myself pulling back some of the traditions and habits of such an upbringing. This incense plays a role in all this. I have tried several from this family, and they are all spectacular. The Catholic scents bring me to the days I served at the altar, and help put my mind at ease. I enjoy lighting these during reading and reflection times. The family who makes these aren’t just selling you a product; they are sharing a craft. We are in need of more businesses that engage this way.

First let me say what I don't like about this incense: the fact that in order to get the full effect of the church blend, you must burn the three different sticks together. I guess I didn't read the description well enough to understand that. So in truth instead of 90 sticks of incense you only really have 30 if you want the full scent every time. It's the only reason I didn't give this a higher rating. That off my chest, it is a very good blend. Having actually burned real frankincense and myrrh resins the scent is accurate, if a little less acrid than the real thing. The four stick burning dish is a must for using the full blend, the second one is nice for using other incense in. The addition of the coin, and two pendants was nice too.

I love this brand of incense! My favorite of the three is the Myrrh - I wish they sold it alone in large quantity. Myrrh is the perfect fragrance strength and not too perfumy. I also liked the Catholic Essence, but it is just a tad stronger than the Myrrh and it does remind me of an old Catholic church. Frankincense is fine, but for me, it just smells like smoke. The quality of this product is good.

Love the Incense fragrances. Miss the incense smell at Catholic Masses...no longer use it. Like the incense holders. The wooden dish one is beautiful, love the carvings..only issue incense sticks hard to stay in, a bit tricky to make stay over plate. But with a little patience you can find a way. Teaches you patience in this impatient world. ❤️❤️ Never knew what Frankincense smelled like..WOW‼️ This set is well worth the $$‼️‼️ 👍🏼‼️ Great gift too‼️‼️
