Really works and doesn't smell bad!
I just moved into my new house and I woke up to a scene out of a horror movie. There where flying ants EVERYWHERE. All over my bed, me. I cannot even. I got this product because I have cats and I thought I'd take a chance on something natural that wouldn't hurt them before I went all out with the poison and honestly, this stuff was awesome. I haven't had any more issues since I've started using this. I sprayed it all outside and inside and unlike most of the natural 'safe for pets' it doesn't have that god awful smell that leaves you with a headache. It's got a bit of a minty smell but it's not unpleasant at all. Doesn't seem to bother my cats either and most importantly, it seems like it kills ants on contact. My vacuum is like an ant graveyard now.

UPDATE: THE BEST INSECT/RODENT DETERRENT EVER! BUY IT AND PUT YOUR MIND AT EASE
I'm updating my review: I LOVE THIS STUFF AND NOTHING ELSE WORKS LIKE IT. It's easy. As mentioned below they state STEM may need reapplication, but not that often. And, a little goes a long long way. Plus, because the price is right, you can continue to purchase it as you need it. Critters really hate it and go away. It is so worth it. If you spray them they die immediately but I don't care if they die. I just want them to stay away and they do! The smell is overwhelming and I don't care! The scent alone DETERS anything from insects to rodents. It keeps me from having to set traps. It keeps me from using neurotoxin sprays. I love it and wish it didn't smell so strong but THAT'S WHY IT WORKS!!! It's only essential oils and it is all natural. After the third yellow sac spider (and he seemed well-fed) landed in my bed, I had - had enough. I give a quick SPURT anywhere I might see a cobweb or in corners and on the ceiling fan ...because they seem to like it up there, dopes. Regardless, the smell alone is a deterrent! Wouldn't it be nice if you didn't see them at all! Wouldn't it be nice if they just stayed away? I don't mind reapplication because it doesn't take much. A SPRITZ DOES THE TRICK. Thankfully the price is right or I would look into other options but the lemongrass in this product is despised by spiders and rodents. A small spritz and your whole room will be a deterrent. I would now like to get some sleep and think I will. I don't like seeing creatures and I don't want them around. This keeps them away in the first place! Isn't that what you want? Don't hesitate. Don't bother with ant traps. Use this and repeat the usage until it stops. You can use traps outside the house, if you have more trouble. It does leave a horribly oily residue so don't spray it anywhere you can't wipe down later. That's the only drawback and it's not a big one. Despite the fact that this may need reapplication, it's surprising how well it works. I had to leave one of the homes unoccupied for quite a while (years). I bought this for ants, but was surprised to find that some mice had also taken up residence in the basement. I would spray and although the scent would dissipate, it actually took some time... Longer than they say on the bottle. I also found wetting cardboard, cotton balls or anything absorbent could be placed in various locations and that makes for easy cleanup. I'd simply spray again, and eventually, it seemed they did not want to come back. As far as the ants go, they are dead on contact. All I needed to do was find the general location where they were coming from and it was over. One small word of caution, if you are sensitive to smells, you won't get away scott-free. It may be natural but a little goes a long way. Overspraying, was overwhelming. It gave me headaches. IT WAS STILL WORTH IT! Don't overspray.

Isn’t as effective as advertised
The spray is good. It does somewhat of the job, but it’s not really as great as I thought it would be. I mean, it helped to keep some of the fruit flies in my house gone but there’s still a lot on there. It doesn’t smell bad though, and it is safe to use with having my cat. That’s definitely a plus cause I always try to get something that is not going to harm my cat and it has a label and says it is safe to use when you have animals

Impressed with minor problems
I bought this for the outdoor flies that attack the feral kitties and I am BEYOND happy with it! Great price for a great product. The only downside I have is that: 1. You have to spray the flies a few times to kill em (which that does say on the bottle, I just wish it was one spray lol) 2. When using this outside be CAREFUL. I’m assuming it’s the oil or geraniol but it left spray stains all over the deck where I feed the cats. Not the end of the world but just something to think about when using. Love the smell, love the product, love that it’s safe for pets, and that it works!

Works Great on Texas-Sized Roaches and Pesky Flies
I bought the Stem Kills Ants, Roaches and Flies bug spray because Texas bugs do not know how to act right. Around here, a roach can walk in looking like it pays rent, and the flies will test every bit of patience the good Lord gave you. I have been using this spray for about a year now, and it has worked great for me. On smaller pests, it usually works right on contact. With those big Texas-sized roaches, sometimes one spray does the job, and sometimes I give them a second round just to make sure they understand the lease has been terminated. Either way, it handles them quickly without me having to chase the thing across the room like I am in some low-budget horror movie. It also works well on pesky flies, which is a blessing because flies seem to treat an open door like a personal invitation to come in and ruin everybody’s peace. I like keeping the bottle handy around entry areas, patios, and problem spots where bugs like to show up uninvited. I also appreciate that it uses a plant-based active ingredient. I still treat it like a bug spray and use it carefully, but I prefer it over the harsher-smelling sprays I have used before. The scent is noticeable, of course, but it is much more tolerable than traditional bug sprays. It sprays evenly and is easy to use. It can leave just a little bit of residue on surfaces, so I usually wipe the area afterward if I spray it indoors or somewhere visible. That is not a dealbreaker for me, but it is worth mentioning. Overall, I am very pleased with it. After a year of use, I still keep it around because it is effective, convenient, and strong enough for the kind of pests we deal with in Texas. Five stars from me, because any spray that can take down a roach with confidence deserves its stars.

Not for Plants. Otherwise might be a good product.
Not really a issue with the product, but maybe more my fault. I searched for a insecticide that would kill nats, flies, etc and was pet and plant friendly. This was the first item that came up and m fault for not researching more but it is not plant friendly. I didn't spray directly on some of my plants but they must have gotten misted some when I applied around them and boy did it do a number. Works better than Round-Up. Essentially it burns the tissue and in my case for 4 houseplants, killed two of them and severely damaged the other two but they have survived. Amazing how quickly the plants showed the damage and was only an hour or so.

GREAT STUFF and pet safe too!
This stuff works! My room was overrun with nasty little black ants. It was an absolute nightmare! I guess they came inside to find water and swarmed over the bed table, under the sheets, EVERYWHERE! And they would bite if given half a chance :-(. imagine if you will waking up to the sensation of creepy crawlers all over your body…wait! Don’t go there, you’ll just itch all night. It was an exhausting experience I don’t want to repeat.

BEST PRODUCT FOR BUGS BUT OILY AND MAYBE SMELLY
When you live in an apartment complex, your neighbors problems becomes your own. No matter how clean your place is, things find their ways through outlets, vents, hollow walls and any crack or crevice. I had a roach issue. Nobody likes to admit this. I don't. But I tried dealing with it with traps. At first it worked, but then the traps stopped getting busy and I kept seeing things here and there. I wanted a barrier with straight insecticide to handle my issue FAST! This is the solution. The best!!! Doesn't smell like raid. It works!! Bugs are scared, they run. They die. Period. I won't have to deal with my neighbors issue no longer and it creates a repellent or barrier to deter anything else. Problem solved. PROS: WORKS ON ALL PESTS HOWEVER BIG OR SMALL. CONS: OILY maybe smelly to those who aren't accustomed to bug sprays. I recommend a mask.
