Assuming you mean the data connection cord to the computer, yes it is USB-A male to USB-A male. This hub does NOT have a separate power supply cord or port, and is not good for charging devices. I use mine for bluetooth and wireless device receivers, flash drives, etc.

There's nothing in the Rode AI-1 to suggest it wouldn't but if the audio interface is sharing bandwidth w other devices, you might run into a problem. This is true of any hub, not just this one. So, for example, I wouldn't run an AI-1 & the hard drive you're recording to on the same hub without first testing that configuration at the audio sample rate & word width you plan on using. If it works, groovy, if not, record to the internal disk & transfer after.
