This kit has everything you need and super easy to use. Was a little hesitant to use since I have never clayed a car before. Use plenty of spray and lite pressure. Left the car smooth as butter. As I was clawing the hood and front of car, I could feel and hear the clay bar pulling pulling junk off of the paint. Followed up with Mothers wax and the car looks great.

It seems to happen more and more, but I got this Amazon delivery with pieces missing - one of the three clay bars was missing. I contacted Amazon and they said contact Mothers, which I did. After a couple of minutes, it was discovered that the box was tampered with and returned, and someone took one of the clay bars. Mothers immediately arranged to send me a replacement clay bar - quick and good customer service. I might consider buying directly from Mothers next time as the clay bar treatment I used on my Porsche Cayenne worked wonderfully. The process was simple, the clay bar left no marks and the paint surface was smooth again. I then buffed the car for a super nice, clean and new looking shine. I would highly recommend this product.

The clay kit is great. The lube/detailer has a nice scent and works really well to help the clay glide along the surface of the paint. I had no idea it came with a microfiber, but the one it came with is super soft and really nice. The clay does what it says, and like other clay bar kits, makes the paint really smooth. I was able to clay my entire car with just 1 bar and had over half of the spray left. How long 1 clay bar lasts is really up to how contaminated your paint is though. Super worth it and anyone with a car they care about should give it a try.

Mothers makes dependable well priced products. This kit worked decently but it left things lacking. I have a black 2006 Volvo S60R. It has been babied this past year (I've owned it for a month now), but in full sun and up close, you can tell it's almost 12 years old. I did things a bit backwards and waxed it the moment I got it (CarGuys liquid wax), and it shines like hell but the finish was still a bit rough and the amount of metallic in the black sapphire paint actually accentuates instead of hides swirls, scratches, etc. This kit will likely only last you a single venture. The clay bars are very small. The spray bottle pretty much ran out right at the end. To be fair I was working in a do-it-yourself car wash so I could wash before and after and the wind was howling non-stop so that likely 50% of the spray didn't get to lay on the car anyway. But regardless, I wouldn't count on getting two goes from one bottle much less these two tiny bars. The kit was easy to use and comes with an absorbant wiping cloth as well. My only beef with the cloth is the huge Mother's branded tag on it. I will say this made a noticeable difference in the slick/smoothness of the pain but I can still feel some imperfections, I likely needed to start out with a higher grade and work down to finer versions. Still, the beading and gleam after just clay barring and pre-second wash was impressive. It did catch on some of the rougher plastic body kit panels and where there's a deep scratch on one trim panel, but it cleaned up easily. The finish I got after re-waxing after using this kit was noticeably improved, scratches etc still visible but the finish was such a smooth glossy sheen even in cloudy/overcast/darkening light. Considering I find it even harder to take my eyes off my car, I'd say this product is worth it. I'm not 100% satisfied with either Mothers or Meguire's but until I find a kit with a bigger volume of cleaner and larger bars for a similar price, I'll keep buying this twice a year.

Works great, detail spray provides good lubricity and clay bars do well at picking up contaminants. One bar and I was able to clay an entire Camry; only about 10% of the detail spray was left though, but that might just be me as I have not clayed many vehicles. Great value.

I was skeptical of this product, especially after my neighbor, a car fanatic, warned me never to use it. But after extensive research I learned that this seemed to be the stuff that everyone who was serious about maintaining their car's finish raved about, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm really glad I did because after using it, my car's finish looks like it did on the showroom floor. (I later found out my neighbor used it incorrectly - without the spray lubricant). My three primary concerns were: 1) it would damage or abrade the finish, 2) it would peel up the paint, and 3) it would be difficult and a pain to use. Not only did this product not harm my car's finish in any way, but it REALLY WORKED! And best of all, it required minimal effort - it's much easier than taking off paste wax. After a few passes with the rubbing spray and the clay bar (you use them together) all the contaminants on the surface were gone. You could literally see old, stubborn road tar and tree sap flecks - blackened from years of sunlight - disappearing with each swipe. You want your car's paint to feel as smooth as the windshield - this product is how you get that. Just follow the directions. Use the spray that comes with it. Plain water doesn't cut it. Also, don't be afraid to use a little elbow grease to get some of the more stubborn containments up; as my confidence grew using the product, I realized I could use moderate pressure to work on the most heavily soiled areas and the bar did not harm the surface in any way. And while the package says it's good for several uses, I'd consider each bar a single-use item. It comes with two bars, and after the first one I'd say I used about half the spray anyway. But this is not something you'll need to do but maybe once a year (unless you consistently park under trees), so I don't consider getting two applications out of a single product purchase too shabby. One final caveat: you should wax your car immediately after using this. I used regular old Turtle Wax T-223 Super Hard Shell Paste Wax - 9.5 oz. and then followed it up with a coat of Turtle Wax T-465 ICE Paste Polish - 8 oz. . These products together worked beautifully. Overall, a great product. It does what it says it does and it's easy to use. Can't ask for more than that!

This complete clay bar kit is the one of best solution to remove all the contaminants. Since my car is white, it had tar marks and insects deposit all over it. If you're detailing your car, I feel this is the best product. Use it with instant detailer and it just removes all the dirty contaminants from your car making the paint smooth as glass to touch. Takes time and effort but surely makes a difference to the paint.

I am an instant fan, works as the package says and leaves the car surface clean and shiny like new. Will purchase again and recommend to anybody wanting to look after their car. I clean my own vehicle so see what industrial fall out can do. This removed mine easily.
