I needed to run some heavy gauge wire into my cab for my dc-to-dc charge controller and wanted something neat and water resistant. I found that GM left a perfect spot for installing this. I used a step bit and drilled the proper size hole(1-1/4”), filed the burrs and slipped this in. I cut the end for the size hole I needed for my wires and ran them through. I seem to recall reading some complaints about them being stiff. I did not find that to be the case. I am very pleased with the results. And I have plenty room if I ever need to run more wires.
