Can I purchase the same type of batteries to use to if needed for continuous power?

Apologies, Shaun J., but i'm confused by the question. The light uses two 18650A Li-ion batteries (3.7v 7.4Wh 2000mAh each included with my purchase). Those are available to purchase separately and can be used with any device that uses this style battery, or to use to change out when pre-charged as extended power backup with the AlpsWolf lantern. These 18650A Li-ion batteries are longer than D and C akaline batteries, and smaller in diameter than C, but have the same form as to + & - using spring loaded contacts. Please clarify further if you still need info. :-)
