Definitely young adult, but not in a bad way.
I'm giving the book series as a whole a five star because I've been here since its early Wattpad days and I loved it then and now. Of course through editing a lot of things are different, but most of it is the same. It's probably one of the only young adult series I will read now that I'm over 18. I prefer more mature readings nowadays, but the plot and characters of this series are too good for me to never visit again.Granted, some of the personalities are a bit cookie cutter and typical of movie high school drama, but the main plot, ie Amelia's, is really creative and original. I loved it a lot, and watching it all unfold was great. Some of the subplots, ie Ana's, were good too.Aiden's as well. Let's not forget him either. I loved his and Amelia's story. They developed well together and were mature. Sure they had kid like moments, but they were in high school so it's understandable. But overall, they worked through things together and talked things out.The only thing I didn't like (and this isn't even about the contents of the book itself) is the texture of this cover. The other two were soft and almost matte-like. This one is glossy and doesn't match. That bugs me as a person who likes her series' to be uniform. Like if I get one book in hardcover, I have to get the rest of them in hardcover, stuff like that.Anyways, I loved this series. I think it's perfect for young teens. It has all the drama, romance-but not smut-and characters that kids typically like.

ROLLERCOASTER OF A FINAL BOOK 😍🥹😭
Oh my gosh. I can not believe Amelia aka Thea’s story is done. This was a rollercoaster of a book! I loved every second. It legit held my attention from beginning to end. The twists and what we learn and discover is WOW. Like you wouldn’t expect any of it. I applaud Jessica I thought I had this book figured out. I’m so happy I stumbled across this first book in BN and then ordered the other two off Amazon.Amelia and Aiden is so genuine and adorable. I love their relationship and how they get each other. Yes, it’s not as believable bc they’re 17 and Aiden is responsible for his younger kid brothers but none the less I love how their group of friends all pitch in to hell. I do wish we had more steamy scenes. There were none. I wasn’t the biggest fan of Amelia’s mom and her boyfriends situation either but glad how it turned out. I would definitely recommend this serious to someone who’s looking for a mystery/action packed love story.
