Can't see screen in sunlight
If you are outside trying to look at the screen, there is a really big glare and it is next to impossible to see the screen. Case seems nice and has held up to a few drops so far, but the glare on the screen lost this review 2 stars. Update****** have been using this case for about 6 months now and I am thankful for it. Dropped my phone several times, and these were pretty significant drops, I have to say it protects the phone nicely. No scratches or dents, or cracks at all. I have dropped it in mud and water puddles. I've put this case to the test and I am very pleased with the durability of this case, not a single scratch on the phone. With that said, I cannot, I repeat, I CANNOT continue to use this case. The screen on this case, although it protects, is horrible. I cannot see a single thing on my phone when I am in daylight. There is a huge glare reflected onto the screen when outside in daylight. I would not buy this case again or I cannot recommend this case to anybody because of this defect. The phone is essentially worthless when trying to use it outside or as a GPS inside my vehicle during the day. ***Update originally listed at 3 stars because the screen on the case had a lot of glare, but I think most of that was also caused by the phone itself not the case. Either way I've had this case for about a year and a half now and I've been good with it, but just yesterday I dropped my phone 30' off of a scissor lift and it fell straight on it's face, I thought for sure it was busted. Get off the scissor lift and flip phone over and to my surprise not a single scratch on the phone. Wow!!! I couldn't believe it. five Stars for this case now. It did beyond it's job that day.

Very high quality
Husband drops his phone and broken it and his last screen protector a million times and then water damaged the phone. But this phone case is extremely amazing and waterproof. He hasn't damaged his phone once unlike before when he had a new crack every day and it's been months. Very durable and strong.

Better than expected
Is this the best waterproof case ever? No. That might be the Catalyst for $90. But the Lanhiem worked pretty well for our vacation at the beach, including snorkeling, and it only costs a few bucks more than the generic phone bag. I have had the generic bags in the past because they were inexpensive and, famous last words, it seemed like a good idea at the time. This time, I bought Lanhiem cases for my family's four different phones (Pixel 6 Pro, iPhones XR, 12, and 13). I figured that most of our phones are IP rated, so the cases were just added protection from sand and seawater. The cases performed consistently across the different phones. Each case was a snug fit for the respective model. Much slimmer profile than the generic bags. Each case allowed full button functionality. Like other reviewers have indicated, the audio quality suffers a little, but that wasn't a deal breaker. None of dropped our phones, so we can't speak to the shock protection. Admittedly, the sheets of clear plastic on the front and back of the case feel very flimsy. But each case held up after several days in the ocean. By changing the camera settings to allow the volume button to open/close the shutter, I was able to take photos and video underwater. I'm sure the case has a slight effect on the image quality, but I wasn't going for professional grade, so it didn't bother me. I've attached a sample photo and video. The cases kept the phones dry and sand-free, even after opening and closing the charging port gasket. Despite the directions, I didn't remove my existing screen protector because it was a hassle and I didn't want to have to reapply the protector since I was only using the case near/in the water. The existing protector under the Lanhiem case didn't substantially affect any phone's performance except for the Pixel's fingerprint scanner, which did not work properly. While this issue might bother some folks, I didn't find having to enter my code to be that bothersome. I also compared the Lanhiem case to the Ghostek case, which costs ~$10-15 more. If you're considering buying the Ghostek because you think the extra cost means you'll get a better case, don't bother. Ghostek is the same case with slightly different corners and better packaging. The words imprinted on the inside of the case are identical and I suspect it's the same manufacturer. (see last two photos) Overall, the cases worked well for our ocean adventure. They were much less cumbersome than the generic zippered bags and not outrageously expensive.

Almost a year of using this case
I got this phone case as a last ditch effort to keep my phone for breaking further as I got a crack down the middle of my screen diagonally top left bottom right? I've been using it for something like 8 months now and I've never had an issue. It's watertight, really durable, a bit boxy but is good to hold, design's okay but one every product has its flaws. Firstly, it is a little hard to hear when you're calling someone, but I haven't had too much of an issue with it. Next thing is the bottom of the camera cover on the back does slowly start to lift up. But after that I really can't see any problems with it would recommend also Note on the little little circle over the the fingerprint scanner. I don't know why people hate it. You can remove it easily. I have done so.

Reliable, Long Lasting Case -- DO IT!
Had this case for 2 years! I've accidentally set my phone in water, spilled water on it, and been in the rain with it, I've even recently spilled paint on it when painting my walls -- not a drop has gotten through to my phone. It fits perfectly, no wiggle room and perfectly snug. Buttons were a bit stiff at first but now there's no issues since it got broken in. I do wish they had more color options but I'm totally happy with the black one. For something that has lasted 2 years I'd say $20 is pretty solid. The built in screen protector was a must for me, I'm terrible at the glass ones and I don't feel like they ever protect the screen 100% after some time I pull my phone out to clean the case and all of the crevices, when doing this the fingerprint sensor part that's sticky can get debris on it but I just use a little alcohol to clean it and it's as good and sticky as new. Never an issue with the finger print sensor not working. I use a pop socket on the back and it doesn't pull at the plastic casing on there, everything feels like one piece. I plan to purchase a second one. After having it 2 years the screen protector is scratched and scraped from being in my purse or dropping it so many times so it makes the screen hard to see in the sun with the scratches but that just proves how durable this case is. My phone still looks like it did out of the box. I love my phone and have shattered too many in the past, so I'm glad I got this case!

Great case with a huge downside
This is a great case. Very well made and easy to hold. For how hard it is to get to get the charge port plug off, I believe this thing is waterproof. The screen cover is hardly noticeable when typing. It's also really nice that the camera is fully covered and the case doesn't seem to impede photo/video quality. It is a little odd that the finger print location on the screen cover is a different color but you get used to it. Just don't look at your phone with polarized sunglasses, the dot shows up dark purple. There is one huge downfall that I can't ignore. This case is terrible at the one thing I need a phone for, being a phone. This thing muffles the sound to the point where speaker phone isn't loud enough in some cases. Completely defeats the purpose of a phone. I've had others tell me they can hear themselves like the sound is resonating inside the case. This might not be an issue if you connect to your phone wireless all the time. But if you plan on holding the phone to you head, look elsewhere. You also have to turn the volume way up on videos or music to hear anything. Basically cuts your audio range down to the to half of the slider bar. If you use your phone for everything but a phone, it's a great case. If you need a case for your phone, so you can use your phone as a phone, this one didn't work for me.

Thick Case. Muffled Sound.
I've had this case for about 6 months now, decent case especially for $20. Protects my phone well? Idk, I'm not too hard on my phones, if I break a phone it's on accident (I guess no one breaks a phone on purpose). Its thick and is made of plastic and some sort of "rubber" polymer. Love that. The 2 big problems with this is the fingerprint scanner (old phone had it, never used it. Tried it with this phone, case made it impossible). It comes with these fingerprint stickers things? I threw them out after the first day. The other (BIG) problem is the sound with the case one. Muffles you, the person you're talking to and music/videos. I just punched out the waterproof lining for the speakers and its 200% louder! I've lost the "waterproof" element but for the quality of sound I think it's worth it. I don't think I would buy this again, but I wouldnt buy a different case to replace it either.

More compact and slim than an OtterBox
What can I add that hasn't already been said? Maybe this: I had used an OtterBox for my Google Pixel phone for years but decided to try this one out b/c it's a bit slimmer. Glad I did as it seems to do be doing the job and feels compact and durable, although it's much tougher to re-open, when needed. A drawback for me is the built-in fingerprint spot on the front cover. I don't use that feature on my phone and it's taken a bit of time to pretend it's not there since it's right smack dab in the work/keyboard area. But hey, I'm not knocking down the stars any for it.
