It produces a good quantity within 30 minutes. I've had no problems with it, and it basically been running non stop since I bought it in May. Not the quietest but not too loud to where it is bothersome. The cubes will melt if you do not use them within a reasonable time-frame, but it's nice that it melts back down into the reservoir and is recycled back to ice. I'm an ice eater, and I'm totally in love with the cubes it produces. Crunchy shell, chewy inside!! Get it, it works better expected. Review: Very Disappointed! - I was only able to use this machine for about 2 months. I followed all of the operating and cleaning instructions, but there is some type of corrosion/rust on the stainless steel. It also makes the same size ice regardless of which size it's set to.
