PENGUIN Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Blacklist Aftermath

wenn man ein bisschen englisch kann und die anderen bücher gelesen hat, kommt man schnell rein. ich habe die anderen bücher aus der serie auf deutsch, aber das macht nix, man bleibt mit dem englischen in übung. der zustan des buches ist einwandfrei, für den preis kann man nix sagen. keine klagen

La base est un jeu vidéo, OK mais pourquoi ont-ils oublié de mettre sur papier le jeu précédant ? Il est beaucoup question de Blacklist dans celui là. Intriguée, il m'a fallu aller sur Internet pour en connaitre la trame et mieux comprendre certains personnages. Plusieurs pages de résumé montrent que le livre précédant ces Aftermath serait aussi passionnant que tous ceux de cette série Splinter Cell. Malgré le départ de Monsieur Clancy je trouverais sympa que cette série continue, même si Telep est sec dans l'écriture : j'adore Sam Fisher et les mondes où il nous entraîne avec des "méchants" pour l'action et beaucoup de "gentils" pour l'aider où qu'il soit. Mais sans Tom Clancy les idées seront-elles là ?

This is the most recent book in the Splinter Cell novel series and its a real treat. It takes place right after the 2013 video game, and ignores the pseudo continuity from the previous novels. The plot is very clear and easy to understand, and the various missions they need to undertake are fun and the complications thrown their way are quite engaging. The reason I'm deducting a star is that it's a little too action oriented for a Splinter Cell novel. In other words, they almost always are either running from the enemy or are instantly detected by them. No real solo infiltration missions like the earlier novels. His team is extremely present and Briggs is always by Fisher's side, which does lessen the stakes a bit since Fisher now has backup on the field. That being said, it's still a great book and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Highly recommended if you're a fan of the video games.
