It's really such a nostalgic tea to get her as her ancestors were from that particular region in China. Aside from the familiar sentiments, according to my mother, the tea is full of spring bouquet, smooth, and freshly plucked.A good harvested tea is a fine plucking . Look for the two leaves and a bud. One can actually notice this especially when the tea has been steeped . As with green or white teas which are a little more delicate than the typical black or oolong, avoid using boiling water at 212 degrees Fahrenheit. Allow the boiled water to cool down for a couple of minutes before steeping. This usually bings out the best of the white or green teas.We also appreciate the packaging. The freshness of the tea is sealed in individual packets.We strongly recommend it to give the white peony as a gift or treat yourself with this exquisite heritage.
