Have two bikes with SRAM AXS and needed backup batteries
I own a MTB and Gravel bike both run Sram AXS. Each came with a SRAM branded battery. I also have a road bike with Shimano Di2. The Di2 battery lasts months while the SRAMs run about half of that. But the SRAMs are easier to remove and cheaper to replace. Although these MRX versions are much better value. Due to the shorter battery life I needed to start carrying a back up. Found these and saw decent feedback and have had no issues so far. Some claim these do not last as long as the SRAM branded batteries. My guess is they likely come from the same factory. I have not conducted any rigorous testing to determine if they are better or worse but for the much lower price it is a no brainer to have 3 or 4 of the MRX on hand.

Great old batteries New ones not so much…
I’ve had these for three years! They have lasted great! Still charging and working well! I’m buying them again for a new derailleur that came without batteries.

Ordered pair of batteries: both failed.
First time writing review. Ordered pair of batteries for sram bikes. Using original Sram charger. One battery shows orange light, it never turns green. After a while I see no lights on charger. Second battery shows red light when I plug it. Tried two chargers, replugging cable multiple times - same red light, indicating battery failure. Sram charged shows solid blue light = adequate power from my power brick. I can see one battery failing, stuff happens. Two failed batteries look like a pattern to me.

The price is good, but the tab breaks.
These are a low-cost replacement for the SRAM AXS batteries. I only use these for a RockShox AXS dropper post, not shifting, but yesterday (I've been using these for several months) I found that my dropper post wasn't actuating every time. When I examined everything, I found that on two of my batteries, the little tab on the bottom had broken off and so the battery was wobbly in there and the contacts were sometimes making contact, sometimes not. I'm not sure if this is an issue only with these off-brand batteries but from the two with the broken tab, it appears that the tab was glued in place and not part of the plastic casing. When not in use, the batteries are in their charger or have the red cover on them. But, of course, I can't find the tab that's broken off somewhere so I can't glue it back on and am not sure how trying to make a little tab will work, so I guess I need to buy new batteries now.

Dependable and convenient alternative
I took the time to test out these batteries before writing a review. I managed to get 600 miles during the course of a month before having to recharge the batteries again. I am a dedicated road cyclist and love SRAM’s eTap system. However, as many other cyclist, I too suffered the dreaded broken tab on my original SRAM rear battery. It’s an issue that seems to be widespread among eTap users. For some reason SRAM believes their original batteries are worth $80, which seems really out of touch, especially when you consider that the broken tab problem is more of a design flaw, rather than an isolated issue with a certain batch of batteries. Having said that, you may run into the same problem with these MRX batteries on the long run, but their affordable price makes it a more convenient and realistic solution. Of course the jury is still out there in terms of battery life, but I can honestly say that for $30 a set, this is a killer alternative to the original batteries. I had no synch issues either with any of my shifters or derailleurs. Highly recommended

Only 1 of 2 batteries worked
Out of the box, one battery appeared to be about fully charged and got a green light from the charger but the other almost immediately got a red light. Breaking out the multimeter, the first battery read at ~7.9V and the second battery was completely flat. Luckily the internals were pretty easy to get out without excessive force and of the two 400mAh cells in the dead battery, one read ~3.8v and the other seemed totally DOA. There is definitely a small amount of gas causing a bubble in the dead cell. Overall the rest of the unit is reasonably well made, so my guess is that they test them at the factory but the cheap cells just maybe have a higher failure rate. Bummer! You get what you pay for.

Works well initially but over all life is significantly less than OEM.
This is a tough review. I will say at first they charge well and last just about as long as OEM. However, after a season of riding they don't hold a charge nearly as well - even when sitting in a pack as a backup. Kind of defeats the purpose of it as a backup haha! I will probably go OEM in the future.

Bought these after my original battery got stolen from my new bike when locked up on my car. The reviews seemed positive so I opted for these. Now I can saw these batteries are great! I've ridden a lot this winter in zero degree temps and I can tell absolutely no difference. They last really well and I'm pleasantly impressed!

I have five AXS drivetrain systems and misplaced one of the batteries. Decided to purchase these batteries as a less expensive option for a replacement. The batteries came fully charged and look quite similar to name brand. Installed the battery and did a two hour ride and had no issues. Checked the battery status in the app and it still indicates “good”. Can’t comment on longevity.

Artículo de muy baja calidad. Queda más pequeño que el origina Lo cual provoca un falso contacto y no funciona correctamente

These seemed to be a good replacement, but one of two batteries completely failed (red light on charger) after a year of very low use. Also, they are slightly larger in width than the original SRAM battery, so are a tight fit in new model AXS derailleurs and need pliers to remove to charge - that's OK in the shop but crappy on the trail. I'd suggest going with official SRAM parts and skip these.
