Ear Piercing Kit - 4 Pack Disposable Self Piercing Gun with 5mm Silver Earring Studs

This piercing kit was super easy to use and not painful at all. The kit comes with everything you need. I bought three packs and they all came with four sterilized needles and four alcohol pads. I did them myself and it was super easy to disinfect, line up the piercing (ignore that top cartilage piercing, it’s the only piecing pictured I already had…), and took about two seconds to do the actual piercing part. With the exception of my top cartilage piercing I’ve gotten my ears pierced in the places you see pictured professionally with a piercing needle four or five times and this is the FIRST time they haven’t rejected or formed a keloid. The material itself is of good quality and I can tell because I’ve had the earrings in my ears for two and a half months (waiting for the healing process to be over before I change them if I even decide to now…lol) and I haven’t had any irritation whatsoever even at the beginning. I usually can’t wear the same earring to bed at night because my ears get to bothered and red. I would recommend these to anybody. Never getting them done professionally again. If you plan on doing more than one piercing like I did I would recommend getting a smaller size (I purchased 5mm), I just got these because they were the cheapest. You can’t tell from the picture quality but they’re still as sparkly as when I got them. I have a few left over that I’m keeping as backups or just to use the earring since they’re so cute. Coming from someone who has had every piercing in their body reject besides the one (I’ve had many body piercings…) to having five piercings in each ear for two and a half months I feel like that’s proof itself. I’ve wanted my whole ear done for pretty much my entire life and somehow these made it possible.

My daughter wanted her ears pierced for her birthday, but all the nearby Claire's stores got poor reviews for ear pricing, and I didn't really want to take my little girl into a piercing studio. Plus the cost to get them done somewhere started at $50 and that was at places that had bad reviews. I couldn't believe it when I saw so many at home kits for less than $15 with multiple kits. I was really skeptical. I didn't want to skimp on something like this and end up with major regrets. My daughter's aunt is a PA, so I talked to her about concerns with infection and sensitivity, and she said these kits are basically what places like Clare's, etc use. So I looked at ALL the kits for a set that had earrings my daughter would like enough to wear for the first 6-8 weeks and that stated they were sergical stainless steel so that she wouldn't develop an allergy to certain metals, and these were the best option I could find. In the end, I was roped in to be the test subject before my daughter got hers pierced since there were 4 kits. It definitely hurt a little, but the pain went away quickly. We had an adult on each side doing both ears at the same time. My husband, who knows nothing about eat piercing was one of them, and he had no issues using the device. When it was my daughter's turn, she did ok until I asked her how it felt and as she said it felt like a big pinch not a little pinch she started crying. But as soon as she saw the earrings in the mirror the tears turned into a smile. While there might have been fun in going to get it done in a place that sold jewelry, it might have been hard for my daughter to not want to change the earrings out right away seeing all the fun options. We will go do a bit of earring shopping together after our first 6-8 weeks. And it was nice to do it from there comfort of home with family. Her dad and her aunt had the honors of piercing her ears with this kit while knowing everything was sterile as well. Since then, we haven't been touching our ears except to wash them once a day with mild, unscented soap (we were told by the PA not to use hydrogen peroxide or rubbing alcohol or anything like that unless we developed an infection since it's very drying and can cause irritation) and spin the earrings once so the skin doesn't grow over the metal. My ears haven't had any issues at all and it's been 5 days. My daughter's turned a bit red for the first couple hours, but she said they didn't hurt, and it went away in less than a day and they've been fine since then. One thing we didn't consider was that we were planning a lake trip for her birthday, and after piercings you should wait at least 3 weeks to submerge them in either lake or pool water since that can cause serious infections. But she agreed she wouldn't put her head underwater and I got her a cute shower cap to cover her ears from splashes. We are very happy with our purchase!

Easy, affordable, turned out beautiful. The earrings are so sparkly I'm happy to keep them on while they heal. The alcohol swabs were dried out, so these seem kind of out of date, luckily I had a replacement at home.

I have used these throughout the years I recommend them to anyone to pierce their ears or kids ears it is a very quick process it really doesn't hurt at all and it's so much cheaper

These are perfect, easy to use. I barely had to push for these to pierce my ears. I think the biggest risk for infection is your dirty hands touching/fiddling with the new piercing, which will happen even if you go get pierced professionally. I am prone to infections/allergic reactions and I had ZERO issues. I washed my hands, and also used the alcohol swab to gently wipe the post of the earring before piercing just in case. I then sprayed (NOT SOAKED) the front and back of my piercings with saline water for 3 weeks 1-2 times a day and made sure they were dry with paper towel/gentle fan after. DO NOT TWIST OR TURN THE NEW PIERCING - this is an old school method and re-traumatizes the fresh wound which prevents healing and promotes infection. If you keep your hands away, are careful and keep it clean, you’ll be good to go. (This includes keeping pillow cases clean, avoid sleeping directly on them in the early stages, and avoid any hair/shower products soaking on your ears). Also avoid changing piercings for 4-6 weeks or until healing is complete! I am not a professional piercer but I did a lot of research before buying these. I also would recommend removing other piercings to prevent bacteria exchange and extra weight on the healing lobe!

The earring are bulkier than I'd like but the piercing mechanism is very easy and smooth to use for earlobes.
