R+Co Hypersonic Heat Styling Mist, 6.7 oz

My hair is very straight, very dull, very prone to frizzing and flyaways, and very fine and low porosity, but I have a ton of it. Think of those old ladies from the 60s with the bouffant hair that looks like cotton candy 🙃. There's a very delicate balance when it comes to products that work for me... Anything too heavy, and my hair won't hold style, too greasy and my hair will become a disgusting strimgy mess, too light and it will take flight and do it's own thing, too wet and it will fall flat, too dry and I get a lot of damage and so much floof it's as though I have been electrified. So a little heat styling is a part of my everyday life... This is absolutely my favorite heat protectant styling product, I have never used anything quite like it. It goes on easily like a hairspray, it's invisible and you can barely feel it, but it's activated by the heat from your dryer or flat iron/curling iron and it does a fantastic job smoothing and sealing each strand, it gives a really nice light natural sheen, and really helps curls and waves gather together and hold their shape/gives definition. I have natural highlights and lowlights in my hair, this really accentuates them, I have been getting so many compliments since I started using it. It WILL NOT flake off, smell weird, or build up on your hair, and it doesn't build up or burn onto your tools either. Smells really nice, like a very light natural vanilla smell that quickly disappears. It says on the can that you can also use it for re-styling with heat, and I have found that to be true, I can go a second and third and even fourth day with a mist of salt spray, a quick blow dry, reapplying this, and re-styling, and my hair comes out just as nice as if I had just washed it. My hair holds up through 14 hours working in the emergency room, I think that's impressive! Sometimes I actually will just use it as a finishing mist too, lol. It's a little expensive but it's absolutely worth it!!!

This heat styling mist is lightweight and works really well before blow drying or using hot tools. It leaves hair feeling smooth without any sticky or heavy residue. The quality is excellent and it helps protect hair while still keeping it soft and manageable. I love it so much I’ve ordered it multiple times and keep it on subscription because it’s consistently the best. This is not greasy, fragrance is nice and minimal, great drying time and does fizz control.

I used this product before curling my hair. I found that it helped protect my hair from the heat and also helped keep my curls in place. I noticed if I sprayed too much in one section it makes it a little hard, but generally speaking it kept my hair soft. Just an fyi it does have a strong fragrance, but I didn’t mind it because I liked the smell. Overall I’ll be using this every time I curl my hair!

Doesn't leave hair greasy, light weight, sprays well.

I'm relatively new to the dry heat protectant sprays and this one was recommended. First of all, the smell is divine, I really wish they'd sell this as a fragrance by itself! It's vanilla-y but warmer and wonderful! Obviously I have no idea if this is doing, chemically, what it's supposed to do but I'll continue using it. I did find out that once sprayed in your hair, it'll be a bit damp. Don't use a hot tool on it unless it's a blow dryer. For curling irons and the like, let it dry down and then use it. It was an eye-opener to hear my hair sizzle after applying my waver!!!

If you spray too much your hair will feel heavy and waxy. I only spray from about my ears down which is the area I am going to use my flat iron on. I have a some curl and a lot of wave to my hair. I needed something that was going to help smooth my hair. It works great - does what it says it is going to do.

pleasant scent and easy to use. I use a low heat setting on my flat iron and this protects my hair but I imagine it would protect it at higher settings also.

It doesn’t work amazing on my hair. My hair feels weirdly dried out, and I did notice that my dark brown color faded a bit.. My hair is really affected by humidity. As far as frizz goes, it does help with that a little bit, but it’s not frizz humidity proof for me.
