The rubber temples on my several year old pair of Serengeti Empolis were finally falling apart, but the glasses themselves are still in decent enough shape to wear. I didn't want to get rid of the glasses, so went on the hunt for some replacement ear socks that would work with the strange dual wire temples of this pair. Looked for some options on Ebay, but most options looked too wide or were not curved enough for the right fit. Finally came across these and gave them a shot and they ultimately work very well. It's a softer material than the original ear socks so they stretch a bit to accommodate slightly different tolerances. They are a really snug fit and I accidentally punctured the ends by sliding the first pair of socks too far onto the sharp wires, but no big deal, as there are 8 pairs. I was more careful the second time. 8 pairs is way more than I needed, but it's nice to have some spares. Ultimately, I'm really glad I bought these, as they will prolong the life of my expensive sunglasses.

There is no way of getting these on my glasses. The first picture shows the end of my glasses. The second picture shows how a toothpick barely fits in the opening. I’m sure they’re a good product and made of silicone which is what I wanted. They just need to be larger to fit in a normal size of eyeglasses.

It's amazing how many 1 star reviews were left by people who clearly didn't read anything. It clearly states they are for thin metal glasses and the opening is 1 mm x 2 mm. That being said they worked perfectly for my glasses. Slid on with no problem. I do wish they also came in a longer size. I knew I needed about 12 mm more in length, but couldn't find longer ones like this. So I knew with the extra pairs that I could cut the extra length I needed from the first part of 2 of the extras. Slid the extra length on first, followed by a full one and it's perfect!! Highly recommend for those who actually have thin metal frames.

the inside of this sleeve where you slip these over your eyeglass earpiece is the size of a human hair. It doesn't even get bigger toward the large end. Unless your earpiece is so miniscule you almost can't see it, it will never go over the earpiece. It says for thin metal but even this is misleading

I could not find temple replacement for my glasses and my research lead me to these and I am very pleased with them so far. They actually feel much better than the original temple tips and I would recommend it.

銀縁メガネの緑サビが酷くなったので、 交換用するため試しにシリコン製を選びました。 きっちり収まり、装着後もずれる頻度も少なくなり良かったです。 ８ペアでの販売ではなく、４ペアぐらいでいいと思います。 追記 装着後、抜けようと移動するので少しうざい。
