MIT Technology Review Print Magazine

I have been subscribing for years because MIT Tech review covers current topics and has a good basis in current research papers. The articles are typically 8+ pages with pertinent data and graphs. This magazine is much better than Pop Sci, Pop Mech and all those other fluf monthly "science" magazines. When it arrives give yourself a few hours and a tasty beverage to finish it - the articles are long and though provoking and offer both sides of current dilemmas.

Great magazine to read if you want to sound brilliant at a party. Hand curated information from one of the most prestigious schools in the US. If I recall correctly it comes with an online version as well, which has even more information on a regular basis.

I can't really say that I am enjoying this subscription. I expected the content to be more 'technical' somehow, with it being published MIT. Instead, it does cover in very general terms some overall technology trends, but only to the slightest level of detail. The content is so fluffy and opinion driven that It's almost like you're watching "E" TV, except it occasionally uses the word "technology". I wouldn't recommend it for a serious tech-head.After about 30 seconds of thumbing through new issues, they go straight to the trash with the rest of my junk mail.

I like magazines that are heavy on meaningful content and light on sponsored ads. This is a necessary read for the typical IT person or those investing in the industry.

Nice exploration of current happening in Tech. Much more than Popular Science, but not as deep as Scientific American. I look forward to each issue

The Technology magazine seems to be intended for general consumption, and does not give "leads" to follow up on the presented technology.As a general technology review, it is interesting and usually has excellent graphics.

Great read. Ahead of the mainstream media. Each issue contains an section providing an overview of some relevant area of technology (i.e. cloud computing, etc.). Just the right level of technical detail without being too dense or heavy.

An excellent magazine. We all enjoy it! Some of the articles are wild and insightful. You will enjoy it, really!
