They are easily to put together and hold a good amount of tokens (The Great Wall in this case). We took them apart and put them back together several times over the weekend, they also got knocked around a bit as well. They suffered zero damage, and the connection points showed zero wear. They worked perfectly for the trip, and still work great at home as they take up almost zero space on my game shelves.
