A little bulky. But easy to use. It’s so weird having this send electric signals to my body. Weird sensation. It helps though. Batter life is fine. Like how it pinpoints areas to do therapy on.

I’ve been using this acupuncture pen for three weeks and overall I’m pleased with the results. The device is lightweight, easy to hold, and the adjustable intensity settings make it simple to find a comfortable level. It’s straightforward to use on common tension points (neck, shoulders, lower back) and I’ve noticed reduced muscle tightness and fewer headaches after regular short sessions.

This device gave me shocks to the hand via the metal plate where you are supposed to put your thumb. It did work on the muscles, but because it also kept sending electric shocks into my hand, it was quite uncomfortable to use. I am guessing I got a faulty device and that this is not a design feature.

It worked fine when I initially used it earlier this year. I tried to use it this evening but I keep getting shocked whenever I touch the grounding metal part of it when trying to hold it. Is there a reason for that to happen? The device is delivering electrical shocks through the grounding plate before touching the skin. This indicates an internal short.

The rechargeable battery is a huge plus no need to constantly buy replacements. After a few uses, I already feel less muscle tension and better circulation. I never write reviews, but after years of using this product and loving it, it’s time to write one. I am an addictions RN, and was first introduced to acupuncture when I took a training to become certified in Acudetox (insertion of acupuncture needles into 5 strategic points on the ear) which is helpful for people trying to decrease or stop using a substance. During my training, my instructor mentioned that there was a point finding device. Since the ear is so small, and the points are so close together, I thought having one would be a handy tool. This device does that, and SO much more. Essentially, this device enables the lay-person to perform needleless acupuncture on themselves or others. I have used this pen so much and for so many years, I have probably purchased three or four over the years. It is very effective in treating muscle pain and joint pain, but if you have the accompanying manual or, even better, the Acupressure Points Handbook, also which can be purchased on Amazon, you can literally treat anything. I have seen dramatic improvement in people suffering from emphysema, hip pain, knee pain, back pain, shoulder pain, tinnitus, headache, sinus congestion, dry eyes, menstrual cramps, anxiety, dental pain etc, etc. Literally any condition can be improved using this pen, and the great thing is, it’s a one-time cost and anyone can use it. I’ve used it on young children and elderly alike (just start on the lowest intensity setting and let your patient tell you if it’s ok to turn it up). I have said many times that if I could only take one thing into a post apocalyptic world, it would be this pen. Bonus: this is the only thing that got rid of my cystic acne, after many many years of struggling with it and trying every possible solution. Yes, it could be made sturdier and it is a bit difficult to hold your hand properly, but this has been a total game changer in my household. Highly, highly recommend.
