I have had one of these little lights on my keychain for 30 years! Yes, the battery has lasted that long. This unit is a replacement. I hope I get the same long use out of this new one. A definite recommend.

These are amazing for camping. It’s what you need for the porta potties. The batteries is lots forever too.

This works wonderfully! I have it clipped to my ID badge at work and it does a great job making things clear at night. I have been using it regularly for the past 2 years and the battery is still going strong with good light output. I would buy it again! The only thing I did not like is that I find it difficult to lock it in the "on" position. I don't know if it is just a faulty switch on mine as many other people don't seem to have the same problem. However I do not think it is a big enough problem to ask the company for a new one.

I have the blue beam model and it has worked quite well in the few months I've had it. It's lightweight, the beam is bright, and even on my key chain with many other keys and little gadgets knocking it around it's still in perfect shape and never fails to work. I ordered mine directly from Amazon and based on other reviews would recommend you do the same as there are knockoffs floating around.
