Moroccanoil Clarifying Shampoo

exactly what i was looking for!

My wife said: Moroccanoil products were previously only available in salons. Their hairsprays, shampoos, conditioners are my preference because of the consistent results, very faint scents, and the healthy focus of the ingredients. I have visited a professional salon for the last time after yet again a pathetic foiling disaster and pitiful cut. So, with a blonde lob full of foil bleeds and tiger stripes, I decided to do a ton of research and see what my options were. Clarifying shampoo turns out to be critical not only for healthy hair, but helping highlighting/coloring last longer, and immediately lessens color disasters. The most important thing is that clarifying shampooing is only to be done ONCE a month on average. AND, to immediately use an excellent conditioner after use. I noticed some reviews complained of shedding, drying, etc., and these are the exact reasons clarifying shampoos state they’re not for weekly use. With incredible products like this clarifier, no need to make a salon appointment. Home coloring and highlighting today is equal to any salon, particularly L’Oreal Paris excellence creme, and so easy! No more $200.00 outlay every 8 weeks, now I just buy the best products available, and this is definitely one of them! YouTube is a goldmine of how to’s and comparisons!

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Not only does this smell amazing, it really works without drying out my hair! I have short hair and use multiple products on it every time I style it... often difficult to remove them but this awesome shampoo removes the products and leaves my hair very clean. I use Morocconoil hydrating conditioner with it. Great combo!

Worked really well for my daughters pool soaked hair, it wasn’t as dry and brittle after using this 1x week I tried adding to my own (highlighted) hair routine to help with other product buildup and greasiness, it didn’t work as well for me.

JUST RECEIVED MY SECOND BOTTLE. EXCELLENT FOR USING EVERY OTHER WEEK TO TRULY CLEAN THE SCALP. IT DOES SUCH AN AMAZING JOB OF CLEANING BUT IS VERY GENTLE. SOUNDS CONTRADICTORY BUT GIVE IT A TRY. I LOVE IT. IT DOESN'T TAKE BUT A SMALL AMOUNT TO GET THE JOB DONE. THEN YOU HAVE NO BUILD UP.

This stuff is awesome! I would like to point out it’s a clarifying shampoo, not a regular shampoo, because a lot of people don’t seem to recognize that or know what a clarifying shampoo is so if you’re thinking you can use this everyday you’re VERY wrong. I use this usually once every 2-3 weeks and it works so well. I have hard water so I like to use it to help give my hair a refresh every now and then. It also helps with any oil buildup I might have since I’m washing less frequently thanks to being home all the time lol. It’s really effective and makes my hair feel super light. I definitely recommend using a deep conditioner afterwards so your hair isn’t too dried out but in terms of ingredients and overall quality of it, I highly recommend! I also saw some comments about the smell and I think it smells fine! It’s not to die for or anything but I definitely think it has a nice smell to it. Plus it’s such an infrequent thing that the smell doesn’t even seem like a significant factor anyway in my opinion. Overall if you’re looking for a good clarifying shampoo, I definitely recommend getting this.

I googled the product looking for a different shampoo for my colored hair and it was recommended. Thought it was pricey for the amount compared to others I got it expecting better results. Truth is that I didn’t like how it smells (kind of clinical smell I read somewhere and completely agree) and my hair was so dry even during the wash that my fingers couldn’t go through my scalp without pulling my hair, it feels like a hair helmet, where water goes through but it’s very difficult to manage. At the end of each shower I can see lots of hair in the tub. I don’t like it at all, I’m hating my shower time that I used to love so much. But I was about to write the review and looked for other reviews and I’m feeling negligent in realizing it is a clarifying shampoo (I didn’t even know what this was), so looked for more information and now don’t wanna rate it wrong since I’ve been using it 2-3 times a week (even though these things happened since the very first time). So, I wouldn’t buy it again but it definitely cleans. Learned my lesson, gonna be extra extra careful when buying stuff. BTW I have long, dark and colored hair.

The shampoo is effective and cleanses hair well. I will definitely buy it again 😊

Ottimo per capelli grassi, non va bene per capelli secchi o disidratati perché lascia molto secchi i capelli, ha un buon profumo!

I love my clarifying shampoo very satisfied with this product, it's a little pricey, thank goodness for the black Friday sale. I wish I would of bought the conditionner too but maybe next time 🙂

Como champú purificante no me ha gustado, ya había probado otros y no dejan el pelo tan seco. A pesar de los aceites y de que alguno otros champús de la marca me gustan mucho, este champú no lo recomiendo. El pelo se queda como un estropajo imposible de peinar, incluso con acondicionador. No recomiendo la compra.
