Great product at a good price, works well, looks good and easy to use. I use this with my DJI Osmo Action 4 & 6 cameras, it has a slick and smooth action with a wide range of motion, just love this gimbal and I can highly recommend it.

Why did I go for this ..battery life , weight , grip , attachment, app control, sadly and disappointed it does not control by bluetooth the Osmo 5 Pro record start so have to try and use voice control to start / stop video hopefully Osmo will do a fix for this or could lose customers to Gopro

The iSteady Pro 4 has 3 axis stabilization, very smooth video can be achieved with any action camera. The camera mount is a very nice design, just a simple pull catch to secure and take off the camera. It works as a power bank and has battery life of up to 14 hours, it can also power your action camera with the included short cables, micro USB, USBc etc Out of the box it did not take any adjustment to make butter smooth video, just mount my camera and it does all the magic. I did a side by side test and with the gimbal it eliminate all camera shakes except up and down shift which I will need to learn ninja walk to get rid off. Connecting the gimbal to the phone is very straight forward, download the hohem app from apple app store and click the connect button. Once connected you can set different stength to the 3 motors, motionlapse is easy to use, just create different waypoints and set overall intervals. it will then control movment of the gimbal with the path you choose. Very interesting timelaps video can be made with it. The overall built is solid, it is small enough to fit into my camera bag. attach the included small tripod to the bottom of the gimbal and you have a phone controlled pan/tilt tripod. It gives a new lease of lift to my older action camera which lack the video stabilization need. nice grip with the handle and all the buttons and control is withing reach of the thumb and index finger.

Bought this for my DJI action 5 , first of all the app your supposed to download is only available for older phones, mine a samsung s23. There is a newer app from Hohem called Hohem joy the but that won't connect to phone . I think this is probably made for the GoPro series of cameras, as the instructions only mentions GoPro, yet the advert mentions Osmo. I've even been on YouTube to try and find any information on connecting to camera, but no luck. It is a good gimbal ( if it worked with my camera ) easy to use , very stable, build quality is not very good feels very plastic. But there again what do you expect for the price. Like I've said probably be better with GoPro. So I've returned it.

It's a shame but this gimble is not suitable for the GoPro 10 Black. The camera needs to be installed upside down which makes the camera's power button unavailable as it is shielded by the mounting hardware. This means that the camera must be powered on at all times in order to use the buttons on the gimble to start recording. The quick capture will not work because the camera has to be connected to the gimbal and this cannot happen until the camera is powered on. Comes in a nice carry case but not suitable for the GoPro 10.

I do love this product, I use it with my GoPro Hero 12 Black. Sometimes it can be a bit of a fiddle when using. I seem to run out of hands when trying to adjust the GoPro settings on the screen and it’s mounted. It won’t fit the Hero 12 with the media mount on. It links well to the app, so you can set Timelapse shots up. It last for ages if you’re not using it to charge the GoPro. I always forget to charge it and it lasts for ages. If you charge a GoPro from it, it seems to use quite quickly but I don’t normally have it on full charge. It does freak out if you turn it on without the GoPro mounted it bases it’s movement on the weight of the GoPro.

I’ve been using the hohem iSteady Pro 4 with my Osmo Action 4, and it’s a game-changer for handheld shooting. Setup was quick, and the gimbal balances the camera perfectly. The stabilization is excellent—even during fast movement or rough terrain, footage stays buttery smooth. Battery life is impressive, and the splashproof design gives me confidence when filming outdoors. Great value for creators who want pro-level results without breaking the bank.

This is my second one of these as the first one had an issue that it just would not stay on and couldny find any help anywhere including from the manufacture but it does seem to be an issue thats become more popular so opefully not an issue that arises after time. That being said, these are so good, its why i bought a second one and at £80 with £20 off, was too hard to resist.
