You should have some experience hooking up natural gas or propane appliances. Know how to check for leaks with a soapy solution. Make sure the picture is EXACTLY the same as the one you are replacing. There isn’t much room to work so I basically cut most of the bottom of the heater off that wasn’t holding critical parts on. It went together well. First startup , no leaks, water or gas. Disappointing heater performance. Most delta Temp I could get with 50F water in was 10F on full gas and min water flow. I have two of these now and I will gang them in series and create super heated steam to run a triple expansion steam engine for my bicycle. I’ll use 3 old lawn mower engines for each stage of expansion. I’m an engineer and only know the theory. This thing could shrapnelize so I will test and I will hide in a 55 gallon drum for protection. Tell me you never did something like this.
