can you do human faces with this scanner?

Only if the human were small enough to sit on the tiny turn table. But you could scan a Smurf if you could get them to sit still for 45 minutes.

How easily can you take multiple scans and combine them? I have relatively complex injection molded parts with holes, etc. and I need to capture them.

The MFStudio software for the scanner will automatically combine your scans, but to capture complex injected molded parts with through-holes and bosses and similar features often requires a hand-held scanner to get into the deeper areas. The Matter and Form V2 scanner can definitely capture the overall shape of such a part, but it will have difficulty capturing into holes and into deep crevasses.

Can someone please post online an stl of a common household item they scanned with this scanner? like a pair of glasses or a fork or?

Neither of those objects would scan properly unfortunately. The clear lenses of the glasses and the reflectivity of the fork would destroy the scan. Shiny opaque plastic won’t even work properly. You either have to sand the shine off, or matte the surface completely with powder or paint.

I have purchased this item with the quick scan however when I can it takes over an hour.. Is there something i am missing? doesnt seem to be quick.

Frankly, the BEST thing you can do is contact them and take a tutorial class. More than likely, you will be the only person in the class. They can help you solve that issue.
