does it show direction of air flow on filter ?

There is an arrow on the filter that shows which side should be facing up when installed. I didn’t pay any attention to what direction the air flowed through the filter.

This filter fits my 2003, 2006, and 2007 Pontiac Vibes. All base models. It should fit all 2003-2008 Pontiac Vibes and Toyota Matrix as well. Not sure if it’s the same for the GT and XR-S models.

Appears dirty in photo. This is how it looks new? Why buy a filter that already looks dirty?

Filter contains activated charcoal - which is black. They work fine and much cheaper than same filter at auto parts store or dealership. Not visible when installed, so who cares what it looks like?
