The price was amazing for this-- the overall quality is great. The black is a little washed in some of the areas, but not enough to make any of the outlines confusing. It's really easy to put in pins, but you can't push them in all the way (can only push them in ~1/8"). Spins well, or can be tightened to not spin at all.

I bought this globe as a gift for my parents who were celebrating their 40th anniversary. They love to travel. I used the included pins (plus another packet) to map out the path of their travels together. It was very well received.
