The SVC-RS2 is a high quality American made 2" PVC vent cap. This vent cap will fit over standard 2" PVC pipe (outside diameter of 2.375"). The SVC-RS2 may be installed with a slip fit, using a cement weld or with the included stainless steel fasteners. A free hex wrench is included with each purchase. The design of the SVC-RS2 makes it suitable to protect vents that pass air, gas or liquids such as water. While the 76% open area of the screen makes the SVC-RS2 useful for boilers, furnaces and hot water heaters, this patent pending vent cap may be used in many plumbing applications as well. Such applications include covering a sump pump discharge line, pools and drainage. Each open area in this vent cap's screen is a maximum of .218" x .218" and is effective at keeping animals and debris out of PVC pipe terminations.
