is this good for a man?

I have a male friend with a similar one (not sure if it is the same exactly) and he also loves it. The band needs to fit the watch size, so if the man owns that size, he already has similar sized bands and this one is no different.

how is this over the long term? anyone had it for a year or more?

I’ve worn it daily for over three months and it shows no signs of wear. I love that I can slip my watch on.

Does it pull the hair on a man's arms?

I'm a female with practically hairless arms so I'm really not qualified to answer this, but probably not. I think they're very comfortable.

Will this fit on a very small wrist?

I would think so. You can adjust it to whatever size is needed.
