The lights work fine with the application but the issue is with the LEDs themselves. Sadly the LED are so far apart that even with a channel and diffuser each LED is separate and between each LED there's a 2 centimeter gap. Its also not as bright as you expect. I dont recommend buying this. Doesn't look as good as they show in the images.

I have had this for only 1month and its already broken everyday the app disconnects by itself SO NOT WORTH IT dont buy

DO NOT BUY this as it is very fickle and a glitchy device!!! Apple HomeKit & Meross app pairing fails no matter what workaround you try & to be fair I have successfully paired around 40 HomeKit devices knowing my way around them **Meross has a dedicated QR coded article only for issue troubleshooting so you can imagine the number of issues.

After second time i"ve paired them with Homekit and Meross app they do not pair anymore so i'm stuck with color red

* after 5minutes the light is already really warm! not sure if I want this on a wooden closet turned on for one hour or more.. * cannot be connected to alexa - linking is not possible. neither from the meros app nor from alexa. Alexa mentioned that this skill is not supported anymore.

Within the timespan of a year I've installed a whole bunch of these light strips in my house for all sorts of things - illuminating the kitchen top and neat floor lighting, lighting the wine rack, under the bed for a nice indirect lighting which is especially nice when dimmed at night, the sideboard, the coat stand, the stairs and of course the home cinema area. Even though it's a bit tedious when doing lots of splits with a full light strip, they are not difficult to install and it's definitely worth the effort when doing more complex lighting installations. I also like the stickiness of the strips, it is high quality adhesive that sticks and keeps sticking. Setting them up for the first time and connecting them to the network is easy. I've read some say that they have connectivity issues, but I have not had any connectivity issues whatsoever with any of my many light strips. Controlling them is a joy! I use Samsung's SmartThings app to control them (without any hub), which gives a lot more functionality than the Meross app itself, including more control over precise color or color temperatures, brightness, and with the ability to set routines and timers you can easily control everything at precisely set colors and brightness levels, and make them go on and off at set times as well. They may not be the brightest light strip available, but they are more than sufficient and most importantly, the color reproduction and light quality are excellent! Also, as they are RGBWW, they also have warm white and cool white LEDS, so you can set any white color temperature you like. As for reliability, they have proven themselves to be excellent in that department too. The only issue I've had over the year, is that one of the controllers stopped working. But as it turns out, their customer service is excellent as well. After contacting Meross through their website, Jamie from their customer support resolved the problem very quickly without any issues. All in all, these are excellent light strips that are easy to use, have excellent color and color temperature reproduction, very configurable through apps like Smartthings, and are amazing value for money for all that you get.

Easy to install in most areas but I chose to take a more difficult route but it was worth it . Colours change to suit the mood , very bright and just add a bit of a smile on the faces of those who share them . Easy to alter length and everything comes in the box including very good instructions

Great product, unfortunately developed a few faulty LEDs however Meross customer service arranged an immediate replacement!

Super simple to install, fits in my HomeKit to set up perfectly, it’s in several routines and scenes My only issue is that when it is set off, two of the lights remain on, very low to the point of not being noticeable unless the room is pitch black. For me it’s not a problem, most of the time, but it is a minor issue that I have noticed

This is a very good light, because it combines RGB colour LEDs and 2 different white LEDs with different colour temperatures in one single strip. It works well in the Apple Home app, but the Meross app allows adjustments of the LED colour temperature and brightnesses. That app provides tabs for white, colour and effects adjustment. The effects are interesting, but could do with some improvement. The adhesive works well, but in order to install the strip in different sections, you need 6-pin connectors and wire. Unfortunately only one 6-pin connector is provided, and Meross could not provide more. An extension for the DC 5.5 x2.1 mm M to F power lead in different lengths can be bought separately at a reasonable price, if you need to install the light some distance from the nearest power point. A very handy feature is the small rectangular box with a push button which the light strip plugs into, so that the light can be turned on or off without the app. All in all a very bright and full featured light at a highly competitive price compared to other products selling for nearly 3 times the price. Much better than the other offerings in a similar price.
