He developed a split nose that just would not heal which we learned is somewhat common for St. Bernard's. After surgery and a biopsy the Vet sold us this supplement and it was rather expensive. Found it on desertcart for 1/2 the price which is fabulous as the Vet told us we would need to give it to him the rest of his life to keep his nose from splitting open. This product along with a prescription cream that we apply seems to be working after a few months. While this may be an unusual use I do highly recommend it for this purpose. Just open the capsules and pour it over his food. He seems to love the fishy taste. Review: Helps with by dogs' skin condition - Purchased this product to help with my dogs' allergy to the grass. He breaks out on his belly and feet enough to keep him (and us) up at night scratching and chewing / licking his feet. Adding one of these to his food every night seems to help.
