Also they had a chemical-like smell when I first opened each package. I hand washed them. After air-drying I can force the XS on (I have long skinny legs) but I would only do it under a long dress and it would probably never be worth the effort of wondering if they are going to tear or stay up. The S takes a bit of effort but stays on perfectly once it is on.
