Works & works fast. Easy to use. The best trap.
WORKS FAST. Got my first one in under 4 hours. Easy to to use (OK, I admit my wrist & thumb arthritis made opening the bait door a little difficult the first couple of times, but it quickly loosened up). Takes all kinds of bait except liquid. Useful cleaning brush included but you'll still a Popsicle stick if poop gets stuck in any narrow crevices. You know you have a prisoner because you hear the loud snap & can see through the transparent plastic. My old traps were smaller & even with the extra ventilation holes I drilled, the little guys emerged lethargic & drenched with sweat. These bigger traps are far more humane. My captive was dry & perky and reluctant to leave his motel. Forcible eviction in the park near a creek & trees was required.

Does what it says on the tin
First time having mice! I set these up with peanut butter at 9pm, already had a mouse by 11. And found another when I went down at 5am. Both of the mice were fine, no caught tails or anything. Looks like the trap is long enough for them to easily clear the door before they set it off. It was easy enough to release, though I did end up having to tilt them out in the end because they did NOT want to come out on their own. The back of the trap, where the bait goes, was initially kinda hard to remove, and then seemed too easy after that, no longer requiring me to squeeze it to get it off. That said, the mice didn't escape or even seem to move it, so I dunno if it's meant to be like that for easier release or what. Either way, currently not an issue. The trap did get pretty foggy once the mice were inside, and I know the mice were only in there for at most a couple hours, so I would appreciate a future model that includes more breathing holes. Granted, the mice seemed absolutely fine, I'm just a worrier. My only real suggestion is to maybe include release instructions along with the setup. It's not too hard to figure out, but I could see some people trying to push down the front door instead of removing the back, which would be a good way to get bitten

Best mouse trap I've ever used
Purchased two traps to try out 3 months ago. They work so well , I bought two more. They are easy to load with food and easy to remove a mouse. The snap bale traps I used often got licked clean without catching the mouse. These traps force the mouse to go to the very back , which always triggers and I don't lose the bait. I'm catching as many shrews as I am mice. The shrews are about 1/3 the weight of a mouse and the traps still catches them. Great design

Convenient, a little hard to clean
Easy to set, minimizes false alarm triggering. The only drawback is the bait door is hard to get peanut butter or bait out of after trapping/releasing

Excellent and Humane Mouse Trap
Well designed product. Caught mouse first night. It was unharmed as I intended. I relocated it to a Mountain Park in CO so all is well. Thank you for the humane alternative!

They work, but it's hard to tell they have sprung and they get dirty
This traps mice well. Three of them have two that have trapped 52 mice total (actually the same mice over and over). The latch looks like it will wear out eventually to where the trap won't remain set, but so far so good. One drawback of this design is it isn't obvious at a glance that the trap has sprung. You have to get up close and see if there is anything inside or if the door is closed. To remedy that, I glued a piece of paper to the door so it is easier to tell from a distance that the door is closed. It gets dirty. Mice produce lots of droppings. Wet droppings. And urine. The included brush, which is a miniblind brush, is all but useless to clean it, since the droppings go in the cracks and crevices in the moving parts. Probably the only way to really clean it is to immerse it in warm soapy water for a while and agitate it. These were my first experience with live trapping mice, and I have a comment on that. I eventually invested in some dog dye (that's right, you can dye your dog) and used it and a small paint brush to mark my mice so I could tell if they were coming back like people say they do. They definitely did -- covered the half mile in any direction in a day or two and re-entered the traps. They apparently do this by pheromone trail. After a month of this revolving door mouse management, there was a heavy rain and not a single mouse entered the trap for at least the next two weeks.

Effective, easy to use, and good quality.
Great traps for humane capture. They are very simple and easy to use, and kept the little critters safe so we could humanely relocate and release them.

Super falle

Mouse Hotel with a Checkout Policy – Humane and Effective!
I'll admit it: the idea of setting traps for mice felt a bit medieval. My sister swears by poison, but I wasn’t about to deal with the horror of mouse corpses decaying behind walls—no thanks! So, I gave these humane mouse traps a try, and they turned a stressful situation into a surprisingly satisfying experience. These traps work brilliantly. It’s like the mice couldn’t resist! I caught one every single night for three nights straight. Watching them investigate the traps was oddly fascinating (I may or may not have recorded it for my own amusement). The best part? Releasing them is mess-free and easy—just open the end, and off they scurry, unharmed. I drove them to a local park for a fresh start (and hopefully better snack choices than my kitchen). It feels good knowing you're solving the problem without causing harm. If you’re squeamish about dealing with mice but need an effective solution, this is the way to go. It’s humane, efficient, and dare I say, even a little satisfying. Highly recommended!
