Costumes Brave Merida Wig

My 8 year old loves the movie Brave and wanted to be Merida for Halloween this year. This wig is perfect, redder than appears in the picture, but appropriate for character. It fits her well and stays on. The texture is very wild, fluffy, fly-away cute. The length is surprisingly long going half-way down her back, layered perfectly, looks great. It gets a little warm but with synthetic wigs that's expected, and in MN it's a good thing because it will be chilly. I wish it came with something better to store it in, the plastic thing it came in does open and close, but it's very difficult to stuff it back in there. So, I hope it will not get wrecked in storage, will have to try plastic gallon baggie or something.

Got this for my 5-year-old to wear on Halloween. It is obviously sinthetic hair, but for the price and the purpose it was perfect! It was not misshapen, no bald spots or anything. It looks like a full head of georgeous hair. It was comfortable enough that she kept it on all night and was snug enough for her to twirl in her dress every 30 seconds without the wig flying off. She's been wearing it ever since (it is now December) and I was sure it would get knotted, tangled, deformed, etc., but it has actually held up really well to typical dress-up play. I wish I could post a photo because I think it looks better than the photo here. The curls were a little more relaxed, making the hair longer, less frizzy, and more like Merida. Very pleased.

I got this for my 5 year old for her happen costume. It is the perfect Merida wig. For a childs costume, it isn’t bad. It looked like two separate wigs piled on each other at first. I used my fingers to blend the layerd sections, and it looks great. Some of the hair started falling out immediately, but that happens. I wouldn’t use a brush if you want the curls to stay intact. The cap is pretty rough feeing. The nape has a sack for people with a lot of their own hair. I will need to pin it to my kids head so it stays on, as it is slightly large (she is 5). But all in all, for just under $15, I’m not mad, and I’m not going to complain about a wig that is for 1-4 uses, then gone. I will say, it is sparkly in light, it does not look natural, so don’t get this one if you’re looking for that natural red headed lewk. For the cost, and getting that Merida vibe, A+++!

I purchased this wig to go with the Brave dresses for my 4 year old daughter for Christmas. All she kept asking Santa to bring was Brave Dress and Brave Wig. I was hesitant to get one after reading reviews and seeing other types of children's wigs. But I had to try it for my princess. Well, the wig was a huge hit for Christmas! When our princess put in on with her dress on Christmas day to model for everyone, it turned into a model shoot, everyone pulled out their cameras! It is surprisingly full, well made, and does bounce like Merida's hair in the movie. It's easy to put on, and stays well. She only keeps it on for about 15-20 minutes at a time, but it's mostly because the curls tickle her cheeks and get in her way if she's doing something.

This was a FANTASTIC wig if you're looking for a Merida wig, but I had to send it back as my 19-month old wouldn't keep it on for Halloween. Great for a tad bit older kids who can keep things on their head! Very fluffy and big.

I purchased several halloween wigs from amazon this season and this was the only one that wasn't awful. It is huge and unruly, but still fun. She looked cute. As most costume wigs it is not made to last and was very tangled and frizzy by the end of the night, but I expected that. Like I said, it is not great, but definitely better than the other ones I purchased so it exceeded my expectations.

this was far beyond expected for a child's costume accessory. My granddaughter is a average size 5 yr. old and the wig fit perfect. It also had room for her to grow into. He father put the wig on as a joke and was surprised how it expanded to fit his head. The hair material is very life like for hair and the color is a great match to the original hair showed on the character Merida in the Movie. The wig as shown is very curly and thick. I thought it a great buy and was high quality beyond some I have seen in toy and big box stores. She received it Christmas 2012 and is still playing with it.It has held up very well considering all the play parties and wear it has received. I use only amazon for my gift shopping because of the information and the fast delivery.

I got this for my youngest so she could dress up at Merida for Halloween. There is so much "hair", it's big and curly. It really sold the costume with its good color and thickness. I guess it's comfortable as she wore it just about everyday for weeks!

This item is amazing our daughter wore if everywhere and she looked fantastic a must for the dressing up box !

Tolle Perücke für Kinder. Sie hat auch meiner kleinen mit 1.5 Jahren recht gut gepasst. Vom halt her war sie auch gut. Sie hat sogar beim Rennen gehalten. Auch nach mehrmaligem auf und absetzen sieht die Perücke noch gut aus. Qualität besser als erwartet.
