Stranger Things: A Branches Book (Looniverse #1)

What a great book! My grandson checked out the 2nd one from the library without realizing it was a series so we bought the first one to read. It is a quick read and very enjoyable. The characters are cute and likable. We are looking forward to reading the next one.

I was delighted to find these Branches books for my granddaughter. She is now in second grade and is a good reader. I felt it was time for her to move on to "chapter" books more similar to the ones her older brother and sister read. These are perfect, and they come in several different series. I have purchased books from two different series. This series, Looniverse, is her favorite because they are funny.

Great step from picture books into early chapter books. My son enjoys the story line, its not overwhelming but fun

Have a son who finished first and we're heading into the summer months--I was hoping these new Scholastic branches books would help encourage him to keep reading through the summer. High interest story--girls and boys might like it--really hard to find a lot of early chapter books that boys will like. This has that sci-fi edge to it but isn't scary. I only wish more of these Branches books would be out this summer!

The boys in my class liked this a lot more than I did. Not nearly as good as The Andy Shane books but as it very difficult to find beginning chapter books I'm happy to have it in my library for developing readers.

Great book for new chapter book readers. It's tough to find great reading material for younger chapter book readers. I didn't want my five year old reading about zombies and vampires. This series provides entertaining material that is fun without pushing borderline inappropriate content. Love these. Thank you to the author.
