Sovis Oversized - 99% uvb/99% uva2 and 97% uva1 Sun Cap Solar Visor Hat Protection

I have been buying Sovis visors for the past seven or eight years and it has literally saved my life! I have a skin condition which forces me to keep as much of it covered from the sun as possible. Before I found this product I had to limit my time outside and had to wear those stupid solid visors which shut out the world above and in front of you. If I wanted to see anything overhead I had to take the visor off (which defeats the purpose of it). The outside opened up to me and I never have to worry about sunburn or even tanning. They are more expensive than the cheap knock offs but worth the price for peace of mind and the knowledge that these visors protect from UVB rays by 99% and UVA rays from 97-99%! Also, it’s fun to watch people’s reactions when they see me wearing mine!

I use this product along with my polarized glasses to protect me from the sun glare while driving . ultimate need when facing the scorching sun rising, perfect......,a little bit larger than I expected, but Im OK with that. However I intentionally take with me to the work place and do not leave it in the car lest it be damaged from the growing trapped heat , which makes my co-workers criticize me for carrying a strange tool. Again ,Im getting used to it.

A very good shade. A sweat absorbing cover is needed to wrap around the head band. After 16 months of use, the plastic head band inside broke apart. I think there is no way to get it repair.

This visor provided very good coverage from the sun, my skin is very sensitive and I need as much protection as possible. The visor is very light and does not put pressure on your head. The folks at Sovis are very supportive, if you have any questions they will provide you with answers. The shipping was also fast and the product was well packed. We are going to buy again since I use mine everyday.

This is the worst visor. It's reflective from inside. It's dangerous to use as the inside is too reflective therefore don't have a clear vision.

I love this product!!! The visor is adjustable so as the sun moves it's position in the sky you can change the position of the visor to give you the protection you need to spend all day outdoors! I have had skin cancer in several places on my face, so I have spent the last 3 years indoors and out of the sun to protect my skin. I have always been an outdoors person and not swimming and doing all the things outdoors that I love has been very difficult. I wore this visor all day to a swim park and I did not get sunburned at all on my face or cheeks. I absolutely love the way you can adjust the visor. I wore the visor all day and in the water and was totally protected from the sun. I feel like I have my life back now and that I can once again enjoy the outdoors!! I would highly recommend this product for anyone who needs protection from the sun!

I’m in my 30s and my skin is not the same as when I’m in my 20s. I tried greasy sunscreen and hate when it got in my eyes. It will get you stares but who cares?! The visor arrived with speedy shipping in a nice box instead of a bag. It had paperwork for proving uva protection. There’s a lot of glare on the bottom of the visor when it all the way down. I can see perfectly clear on the top portion. I just have to be extra cautious when driving. When the sunset was coming at me I enjoyed the full face protection compared to my sunglasses. I would have appreciated an anti glare aspect for the $40 I spent. One major caveat to the design is the plastic headband is narrow and digs into my head giving me a tension headache :-( A softer padding with adjustable head band (like Velcro) would have made it perfect!
