Great ergonomics, fits really well in the hand because of how slim it is, the switch falls to hand. Cant be beaten for power to weight, size and quality ratio. In the world of battery grinders, these are still lighter and better if you are doing any lengthy or intensive work and a fraction of the price Watch Dean Doherty repair video on youtube, his observations which count for a lot given he sees hundreds of machines in for repair. In case it's useful to anyone, all my other grinders are Makita and the guard on this Bosch is not compatible which I had sort of assumed. Other random observations - no soft start but NVR, 2.5m cable, H05 rather than H07 grade but still feels very flexible

The tool was bought to cut back some brick work, which it did quickly and easily with a Bosch diamond cutting disk (Bosch Professional 2608602191). I certainly don't doubt the ability of this device to cut or grind materials. It certainly seems to pack some power, much more so than bargain basement grinders I've used in the past. This grinder was much heavier than I expected. It would have been nice if it had a variable speed control. I wanted to pack it back into the box after I had used it as I don't expect to be using it again for a while. I couldn't get the guard removed and found it quite fiddly to put on originally. It would have been nice if the tool had arrived with a case like the Bosch Professional products I have previously purchased.

Probably the best grinder on the market in its class in my opinion. Lightweight, plenty of power, easy to hold because of its narrow body. My first one needed new brushes after 7 years before the bearings went after 11 years, this was with a few hours use each week grinding dusty materials.

I would advise you to buy one if you can get a similar deal to myself around the £60 mark. I purchased this to remove the remains of a large tree stump in the middle of my paving project . I have previously bought a couple of cheap cordless grinders , from this site for less than £20 each, which both work ok but have a useless battery life . What can I say about the Robert Bosch ( that was his first name ! ) so quiet to operate , so powerful , lightweight , my only criticism is the disc lock is very fiddly , that said , I will look for Bosch first in future and pay the bit extra.
