Bought the monochrome series as well and now have all the episodes. It was truly a superb series. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superb quality - superb entertainment *by D***E on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on July 22, 2017* Having watched the black and white box-set and enjoyed every minute of it, it was unlikely that we wouldn't enjoy these colour episodes of the iconic sixties show. We were not disappointed. The shows themselves, the stories and the acting need no review here - Roger Moore's 'The Saint' became iconic because it was good entertainment - amongst the best TV shows ever produced - as is very well known and you either like the genre or you don't. What I will comment upon is the visual and auditory quality of these DVDs and all I can say is that they are superb. I don't know if they have been digitally restored or enhanced - but whether they have been or not, the audio and visual quality of these DVDs watched today on a large screen TV is a tremendous credit to those who produced the original shows and made the original films and sound recordings. Anyone who buys DVDs of 60s TV shows will know that sometimes the quality can be uneven and occasionally disappointing - but not in this case.
