Functional, hold up well, and easy to use. Installed them three years ago and have had no issues. I recommend wrapping the lights around twice to hold them snug. I didn’t need any tools to put these in the ground. Haven’t blown over or bent.

Contrary to some reviews, these poles are extremely durable. They have extra long spikes that go into the ground, are not at all wobbly. I have a 30’ solar light string hung with the large solar panel and I have no concerns whatsoever, and we live near a windy lake.

This is now the third time I have purchased these poles for my yard, as I now have 8 total. They are tall, super easy to install (literally twist two pieces together) and they look fantastic. I am majorly impressed because I live in a windy area on the edge of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and these poles literally held up against 100mph winds. My area is also quite rocky, so I haven't been able to push these flush into the ground, and they still hold up to all our wind storms and snow storms. I am seriously impressed with these poles! The only thing to note is that these are literally as described - it can only have distances up to 15 feet apart. Mine are 15 feet apart and are totally fine, but when I tried to do about 17 feet, they leaned heavily. So their marketing is completely accurate. If you have a fence you can reinforce them to (or I saw some photos with planters and blocks) then you should be totally fine, as it can support the tension. Highly recommend!!

They were the perfect height to run a string of lights from our garage around our patio. Easy set up and pretty sturdy - kids have knocked into them a couple times without any issues. They were a bit more expensive than I would expect.
