When I ordered these, the listing did not mention the wire gauge which was disappointing, but it did mention β€œThrough Current: Main line up to 6Amp, branch Line up to 2Amp”. My application is less than half those values so I ordered it and it works fine. The cables are not warm or anything. I only needed one for this job, but the 5.5/2.1mm connector is very common so I will probably use the second one somewhere else. This splitter allowed me to do just that, saving the cost of adding another solar panel.
