It doesn't feel very reassuring when you insert the card (no nice spring-loaded mechanism, you just stick it in), but it works consistently, and when copying to an older (3 years) Dell desktop with a 1TB drive, it copies from the card to the disk at about 40-50 MB/sec. I wouldn't bang this thing around much, but for its price it's pretty great! ### ⭐ a shameful product. *by H***N on March 30, 2019* Just after a few times of use, something went wrong. It seems, one of the contacts is not solid, so that I have to use my thumb to press the card tightly against the card reader (even with a waggle) to maintain the connection. Since my Sony XQD card have no trouble working with my Nikon D850 camera, it should be reasonable to think the malfunction piece is the card reader.Update:In response to my direct contact with the supplier, AMALINK send me a replacement.
