A: Yes as it goes under the slate/ tiles etc and they actually go inside your loft space in the lining.

**Q: Do they cause any issues with tile uplift/high winds, or driving rain?**
A: Installed properly these lap vents cause no issues with rain or wind as they do not alter the external surface of the roof, they only ensure that air is circulating freely in you roof space. They enable your roof to breath properly and therefore reduce the amount of condensation that might form on the underside of the roofing felt. Dependent upon the size of your roof a pac of ten may not be enough,so be prepared to have to reorder and keep adding lap vents until control is achieved.

**Q: Do these come with fitting instructions?**
A: No they didn’t come with fitting instructions, but a quick google search showed me how to fit. Very straight forward.
