I have owned two of these for three years, and as an electronics engineer, I spotted a failure IN ONE OF THEM after six months of use. I appealed to Godox for replacement, and though I had to go through the tiny reseller who seemed to operate out of a shack in Pennsylvania somewhere, I got my replacement for free. I test my speed lights under harsh lighting conditions, and the exposure calculator is reliable and believable. No need to whip out formulas and a slide rule or calculator. The actual flash varies sometimes (only occasional aberration), so multiple snapshots are recommended. This little flash is not very powerful, but I use it outdoors on full power and keep my Sony in Manual mode. I shot an event in bright sunshine at F9, shutter 1/125 and ISO 100. All I needed was something to counter the shadows on people's faces and it worked fine. It is cheaper than the Sony flashes and I think it works better. If you need a lot of power (more than 76 guide number, you better look elsewhere.
