Great case - recommended if you "switch" your switch, regularly.
Was a bit skeptical after reading reviews on this case, but after maybe 6-8 months of use - I love it. I find it fits in the dock fairly easily. You do have to push/guide it in, but it's just a firm, intentional push. There's no forcing or bending the dock. I have both a switch, and switch OLED, and have a mumba case on each (same case but model specific). Both cases fit into both regular and OLED docks without issue. Only real downside is the lack of a kickstand, but the case is really easy to take off if you need to. Slide out the controllers as you normally would, then push the switch console/screen to one side and the case should easily flex enough to slide it out. 1 point to note - both my switches are special edition ones with back details. The Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee switch with the glossy back decals does seem to lose 99.9% of the finish, even though I have a clear back. You have to really look for it. Doesn't damage it at all, but the plastic material makes it hard to see through the case. The other switch I have, the Scarlet & Violet OLED has bright red and purple graphics on the back, and these show up perfectly through the clear plastic back.

A great buy.
This is a great bit of kit, fits my Nintendo Switch OLED perfectly, looks good and is of quality build. It provides a perfect grip for playing in hand held mode. Good purchase.

The best OLED case currently on the market
I've tried all the cases current available for the OLED switch. This is the nicest one. It's just that bit more refined than the others - little details like the edges on the corners are rounded off so they don't dig into your hands, and that the top is pretty flexible so it's easy to get the Switch in and out. A close second was the other Mumba case, the TPU one - I prefer the texture on this to the smooth glossy finish to the TPU one. The TPU is a little smaller, but this makes up for it in comfort and feel.

Just what I wanted😁👌🏻
After buying the Switch, I set about looking for any accessories that might be good to get. After some research, I kept seeing articles and comments of others saying that holding the switch after a while can feel a little unconformable and that some sort of grip/case is advised for extended use. I don't need much encouragement to buy a gadget, so started off again on my search for the best one. I finally came to this one and I thought it looked the best compared to others. After Reading the reviews and I can personally confirm some points raised and dispel others. Some have said it's a tight fit in the dock and you have to apply pressure to make it fit and some felt it would break the dock, which worried some...... That comment worried me too and I thought I'd very gently try to see if it would go into the dock without removing it, as I felt that would be a bit of a pain every time I wanted to put it back. I can report that I had no issues and didn't need to apply any force/pressure. What I will say is you just have to make sure it lines up perfectly and it should slot in without any issues. Some commented on the very bottom part of the frame being flimsy. Whilst I'd agree, I don't feel is too much of a negative and hasn't caused me any issues but I guess that comes down to preference. The joycons easily come out and go back in again with no issue. It's comfortable to hold, fits the dock (although a little care and time is required to do so and you can't just drop it in) and finally...... it looks cool.😎 But.... And yes there's a but and it's the sole reason I've knocked a star off and it's this....... The lack of ability to use the stand while it's on. "But you're meant to be holding it in your hands so why would you need to use the stand?!" I hear some of you say. Well, for me, why would you need the ability to remove the joycons from the switch while in the case if you can't stand it up to see the screen? Yes, I know some of you will be saying "so it can stay in the dock!".... And of course, you would be correct. But my thoughts are when you're out and want to put the console down on a table etc to play and not have to hold it all the time? Would it have been that much of a stretch to remove a small panel section or have some sort of hinged solution so you could use the stand still? 🤔 I'm not a product design expert so maybe there is a valid reason why they didn't... But for me I think it would have been a nice touch so you would never need a reason to remove the case. For me, every second something is out of its protective case it's open to be damaged and scratched. But that's just me😊 The other question is, will it fit into a carry case? The answer to that is NO!, not on the usual size of case you'll find anyway. This bothered me because again I didn't want to keep taking it off and putting it on every time I wanted to put it in the case or take it out.... Although to do so is very easy I'd like to point out. So off again I went to research and find a solution...... And I found one 😁👌🏻 Now this isn't meant for this case as it's original intended use is with the Hori Split controller. But looking at this I saw the case was bigger and thought that would allow the case to fit inside meaning I wouldn't have to take the case off and then put it on ...... Not to mention then having to carry the case separately which I thought would be a pain and wanted everything to be together in one case. The case I got was from Amazon and if you visit my Amazon profile page, you'll be able to see it there, along with my other accessories if you're interested. All in all I'm very happy with the case😊

Excellent layer of protection for Nintendo Switch OLED
Having purchased this for my new Nintendo Switch OLED I'm super happy with it - the Switch fits perfectly and you can remove the joy-cons easily. Fitting is perfect and I note previous comments regarding the part of the case along the bottom is flimsy and doesn't suction however unless your pulling at it there is no issue with fitment and in regards to headphone socket access unless you have a odd shaped headphone connector or that's excessively big you won't have any issues. Would highly recommend as fitting is perfect and does what it should in terms of protecting your Switch whilst improving handheld grip 👌

Not so great at holding the unit in when joy pads are not attached
The case feels and looks great, even when playing the handles are just right. But there is a flaw in the design, when you detach the joy pads and its just the main unit in the case it doesent hold it in, its been dropped twice so far because of this.
