Last a long time.
These fairy light are awesome. I put them on my white birch tree at end of my driveway. They come on like clock work every evening. All year. Not as bright in the winter but still light. I just replaced them after about 3 years. I add colored stands for holidays

Long lasting, outdoors and very bright colorful very stylish
I bought these last year and took it outside the US for a Christmas gift. My family loves it. The kids turn it on at night! They use it outdoors at night time all year around. The lights are colorful shines brightly in the village. If you drive at night in the neighborhood, you can spot my house from miles .. it’s the only house with little shiny glowy gorgeous lights that glows at midnight

useful solar powered lights
I was afraid these might not be very good, but they work well. They charge up during the day, even on a gray winter day and last at least a few hours once it gets dark. I don't have a socket outside, so I needed solar powered lights, and these did the trick.

Pretty
Solar power was great. The bulbs very small and the wire sturdy but extremely thin. Trying to roll them back up was difficult. I did use them for Halloween and then left them up for Christmas. They made for a soft glow with the white lights.

The memory feature works.
I cut down similar products because after a dark/dim day or two, they would revert to cycling through all 8 or so blinking and chasing modes. I bought these because they claim to retain their last mode setting, and I can report that this works. I want them to be on solid, and they come back on solid every time so far. My complaint is the same as on the similar products: From the customer perspective, they are wound backward on the spool. That is, they unwind starting from the end of the string, with the solar panel being connected until the very end. Some may not care about that, but I want to mount the panel where I want it and then extend the string of lights as far as it will go, sometimes wrapping around things the whole way. If you start wrapping with the end of the string, then you may not end up with your panel where you want it, and you have to deal with it the entire time you're wrapping. I have a solution to the wrapping problem: I rewind the whole string on an unused spool, so that the panel comes off first. Then I can mount the panel, deal with the 6' lead from the panel, and then wrap the string around whatever it's going around, with the convenience of the spool unencumbered with the panel. It's not too hard to do, especially if you can hold the original spool motionless with a bench vise. So, this is not a killer of an issue, and probably most of them are going to be wound backward because it's easier from a manufacturer perspective.

Worked for one season.
UPDATE: I am now taking all of them down as they have stopped working. Couldn’t handle one more season unfortunately but for the price, not too bad. Original review: I bought 5 orange and 5 purple. They worked great for a month and a half (I set up in mid September) and then I packed them up for storage after. When I dug them out for this Halloween season, they still had some charge from last year. Stuck them up on the trees. So far so good. Hoping I don’t need to order any more this season. PROS: Price point, solar power, easy installation, bright enough CONS: they only last about 4-5 hours depending on how much solar power they collected during the day and you have to turn on and off for them to collect energy. The mount doesn’t turn very well when repositioning for sunlight. The wire is brittle if pulled too tight so it could snap, or you send a staple through it with your staple gun when decorating trees like I did. Just be aware of where your wire is and how wide your staple is. HOW IT COULD BE BETTER (for manufacturers): make the cord from the lights to the power bank longer and black (not clear or white) - put solar panels on at least 2 sides if not all 4 for optimal energy collecting or make it so the mount will swivel left or right when needed.

One out of 2 worked
I got a 2 pack of the solar lights and only 1 works. The light itself is bright. I would say it only lasts for about 4 hours. Not very good for solar.

A bit nervous about unwinding as it's like copper wire but they look very pretty when lit.

THEY LOOK BEAUTIFULL

Compact and yet powerful , they look great and are easy to install . With a sunny days charge they set for the evening and into the night , when they run out of charge they go off, when the sun comes around they charge and are ready for the night ahead . Even on a cloudy day they charge a little but don't last as long. They have different flash settings all the way to solid on all the time these lights are sofa king cool buy them. I plan to get more colors I have the blue, I want green, but I also like the red, I will probably get both . Cheers !

I’m leaving this feedback as I’ve experienced the same issue reported by several other users. The light turns on automatically at night only on the first night. After that, it no longer turns on by itself and requires manually pressing the button each evening. I purchased two units, and both behave in exactly the same way, which strongly suggests a design issue rather than a faulty individual product. After opening the unit, I found that it uses a small Li-ion battery without any protection circuit. As a result, the battery is allowed to over-discharge overnight, causing the controller to shut down completely. When the battery is recharged the next day via the solar panel, the light does not automatically turn back on because it has already reset to an ‘off’ state. I also measured the battery voltage and found it charging to around 4.7 V, which is well above the normal safe limit for a Li-ion cell. This indicates inadequate charge regulation and suggests the battery is likely to degrade quickly. I attempted to resolve this with the seller, but they requested a video as proof. Unfortunately, it’s impractical to provide a video for a fault that occurs overnight and presents itself as the light simply not turning on the following evening, despite having been charged during the day. In summary, I would not recommend purchasing this unit. You may be lucky and receive one that continues to work, but based on my experience with two identical units, the behaviour appears inconsistent and poorly designed. For a solar light, having to manually turn it on every night defeats the purpose.
